Thoughs who still believed in it, were far and few in between. From what she experienced in her life. Only one, should her that sort of honor and code except Glozelle. Her adoptive father.. whom she plagued him with her following him nearly everywhere to learn structure. Something she never had.. though she hated rules, being a rebel was far too taunting for her, she still ached for it unknowingly. Now, older and wiser- she stuck by the code passed on to her. Though many tried to show they were tough and all, Gloz and herself had a much higher, more strict code to follow. She was a knight, and that rebel side of her vanished when her training got more and more intense til it broke her, and he rebuilt her.

But everything that drove her til this point was determination, the need and will to survive. That same thought was now the only doubt in her heart. Glozelle, and Ebio'femi had now their second litter in their hands, the den was full to the max and Zhen opted to sleep outside of their ruined templed home to help raise them like she did the first litter... But the need to survive was gone- they lived in a secure pride. So what was left? What drove her.. and she was finding her purpose in life to be.. more and more empty. The lonely feeling you get when surrounded by so many.. It wasn't that Ebio and Gloz's new litter didn't give her joy, she just.. found it weighing more on her heart for some reason, and this unsettled her. So she decided that she was going to 'soul search' and to do so, she would use the excuse of finding water.

With a stick in maw, with two jars on either side of the stick she setted off.. Far, and wide. All the while her head was pondering on the reasons she chose to follow the code Glozelle followed, and why she would continue. The purpose of her life, not only within the pride because surely the pride would still function without her.. Miles in to her walk- she found no water and she stopped only because her legs shook and her fur was matting. A trial- but she didn't see it as one any more..her moral codes were not waivering highly..

The God of Chivalry liked to fly over the mortal realm, just to see his shadow cast on the ground far below. His keen eyes watched over the lions he saw below, and some times he was able to see those that might need help.

Like right now.

Seeing something that did not seem quite right, he circled around and landed. A lion flying was one thing. A lion flying without wings was probably quite another. He was a God, of course, and it was not the wings that allowed them access to the skies. Every God had magic.

He padded toward her, tilting his head to the side.

"Are you alright?" he asked. He had landed a short distance away, aiming to stay out of her line of sight until he walked into it. Sometimes Gods freaked people out, and he tried to hide himself among them as best he could once he was down on their land. He was large and adorned with fabrics and he all but radiated the aura of a God, but he tried to be subtle.

Not very hard, but he tried.

Her everything shook wildly after a few moments of sitting there... Slowly putting down the stick with the jars hanging from it. Water.. She slowly turned.. Then turned to the next side... A voice, but no body... stopping. Maybe she was hallucinating, trying to compose herself before she looked around again to confirm but oh and behold, a large lion her eyes had laid on. A moment passed, then her mind registered and taking a few wavy steps, her body finding it hard to hold itself up with the heat... Many lions had passed out in the dawnwalkers, and even she- someone who had trained in it so long had still found herself weakened significantly.

"If I am suppose to die.. It is of fate to decide. That.. is what I must remember. But If I died here... The only purpose would be to become sand... and the sight of that is to become ash... " The most insightful thing she had said, and likely the thoughts that had wrapped around the back of her mind. If she died her- would anyone notice her? Was the male in front of her an illusion.. but her brain didn't give her enough time to pull herself together before she got wind and ended up falling to her hunches...

"Woah.." As if her body weighed a ton, and caught herself before falling to her stomach.. Still trying desperately to stay conscious.. then tried to pull herself up as if she was alone again. Having not realized he wasn't just an illusion.. and even so, she wouldn't allow him to just help her. Although female, she was much too 'strong' and brash, she could handle herself but even the strongest Gods could melt under the drastically changed climate over the dawnwalker territory..

Talfrid was fairly certain that was not what he asked her, but he patiently waited for her small monologue to continue and, soon enough, end. He arched one eyebrow at her, regarding her with mild curiosity now, though his concern remained.

Something was certainly wrong here.

He moved immediately to her when she wobbled, at least, understanding that part of what was going on. He nudged her and then made to get himself under her, whether she wanted him to or not.

"I am going to take you to some water and shade," he said seriously. His knightly personality would not allow him to leave a damsel in distress, regardless of if her pride would want him to help her. That was not what was most important, in the grand scheme of things.

Anyway, he could fly. She'd have a tough time saying no once he took off with her.

When she stumbled, one of the jars fell over and rolled away in the sand.. and that's when her body gave way, and she fell upon the god that had slipped beneath her. If she was sane, she wouldn't be upon this male's back. She used to be a 'demon', how could she let another carry her? Now a guardian, and still she had been pulled apart everything she grew up to know... With just an instant of fatigue and weakness...she was scooped up by someone much larger.

She murmured "I..feel...Ah------shamed." That feeling...sunk in for having been so careless with herself. Was someone really carrying her? Did it happen? Was it happening? She could see the blurred vision of the ground beneath them.. Then darkness overtook her sight and she was out cold.

[ Time Skip: - Hour later? - ]

She lifted her head and mumbled. "Hmmm..." The grumbling sound of someone waking up in the morning.. Her ears were laid down and her body had relaxed significantly..With the earlier fatigue, she hadn't completely shook off that feel of being weak just yet. Finally she focused her eyes enough to make out a figure.. then as her eyes focused more she saw a pair of feet not too far from her. "He...llo...?" Her words sounded exhausted yet she tried to get the attention of her savior.
