In ancient times the world was watched over by the Guardian Fae. The Fae lived separate from the humans maintaining peace and balance from their dimension. For centuries humans had no clue that the Fae existed. Soon the world fell into chaos and the peace was disturbed. The balance of the world shifted dramatically so the Guardians sent the Fae to the human world in order to return balance.
The fighting soon died down and for many centuries to come the people lived in peace. This was not to last long, for a group of Fae Rebels decided that they should rule over the humans. They allowed themselves to be discovered by the humans and started to strike fear into their minds. Due to their actions the barrier between the worlds shattered. Humans retaliated by attacking the Fae until very few were left.
Now the Fae remain hidden, scattered throughout the world. Traces of the Rebels still remain throughout the lands. The Fae watch as the world changes only coming out for supplies. Once more the Rebels are gathering in order to once again enslave all of humanity and the Fae Warriors with the aid of a few Human Knights must work together to stop them.
