Spelling tips.

I've recently been taught about spelling tips.. I.E. how to spell necessary..

My teacher told me to remember it this way..

Necessary.

Incase you're wondering why I put the 'c' ad the two s' in bold, here's why;

One Collar, two sleeves are necessary. sweatdrop

In this case, I can think of it as necessary having CSS (cascading style sheet) in it.

I just take the letters out of 'necessary' and make the word 'easy'. XD

(plus a pile of other letters)

I don't honestly like that kind of gimmick, then you get a couple dozen phrases stuck in your head and confused.

The word that's always given me trouble is "definitely". I used to spell it "definately", "definitly", etc. Finally, I looked it up in the dictionary and saw the word "finite" in it, which made me realize that "definitely" means "of the end". It's finite, absolute, etc. So now when I spell "definitely", I think of "finite" and all my trouble with the word is in the past.

As for other words, I try to sound them out in my head to type them. If I'm spelling a word aloud, I break it into sections. "Hippo pota mous", for example.

Wow.Interesting.How I do it is just 'c' comes before 's' in the alphabet sweatdrop ......But I don't know how I remember there's two s's confused ......Common sense I guess neutral ......

I don't usually need mnemonics, but I think many of them are funny.

I use Google spell checker sweatdrop But I can spell OK anyway.

I think it's a lot easier just to memorize the spelling instead of a sentence like that..
