[PRP] Young Blood (Kali x Acacius)

Kali sniffed the seashell, crinkling her nose at the strong scent. She had only been out of the den for a few short weeks, and was still in the process of exploring the pride. Granted, her parents were never too far off, so Kali couldn't bolt and go exploring on her own, but she liked to think she was being given a few liberties, being allowed to roam freely in designated areas.
Still, the girl was bored out of her skull. She wanted adventure and danger, like the pirate stories she had heard! Kali wanted to go pillaging or fight off some of the evil vikings! But alas, she was stuck here with her parents and her siblings. The cub sighed, looking around to see if any of her brothers or sisters were around. Perhaps one of them would like to go adventuring with her.  

[Fairy Snails]

Acacius was in the middle of a play fight. He was 'fighting' against a rock. His movements were, quick, sharp and precise, or at least he thought they were. His father had told him again and again to stop training and have fun, but Acacius was focused on his dream, his dream to be the best pirate captain. It wasn't an unreasonable dream, Acacius thought. It he was meant to dream why not dream as big as he could?

He was training so his parents would be able to see him. His mother was so protective of him. He was a pirate, he could keep himself safe. Someday he would become strong, stronger then even his father. It might just take some time.

As he trained, now with pouncing he noticed his sister walking about. He wondered what she wanted and wondered if she could help him with practice. Being one of two boys in the litter made being with his sisters annoying sometimes. As long as they didn't do girly things he was fine. Most of the time he spent by himself training, but he thought that maybe having one of his siblings with him wouldn't be too annoying.

“Hey Kali, want to help me train?” he called out to her.
