Erimentha had been wandering without a place to return to for quite some time now. She thought she had found her home but tragedy struck there and therefore she was left once again wander aimlessly. Erimentha was certainly the type who needed something to fight for, but right now she was like a rebel without a cause. Or so she had thought. That was until she had heard rumors of a pride of lions called Myrsky Syntynyt and were often referred to as Stormborn. From then on she was dead set on finding them and joining them. Or at least trying to. From the rumors in order to join them you had to challenge someone in the pride and win, or have a tie. She was hoping for a win, but she would honestly take whatever she could get. "Calm down, you can do this." Erimentha told herself. This wouldn't be her first fight and hopefully not her last. She was usually more courageous then this but there was a lot at stake. She was tired of wandering.
Within a minute she was standing in front of the entrance of the pride. Whoa. That's the word that came to mind when she first saw it with her own eyes. Erimentha shook her head and cleared her throat before letting out a loud roar that would hopefully entice someone to accept her challenge. "Show time." Erimentha grinned.

Somehow he wasn't surprised to find himself back on Askorun duty. It wasn't a bad job, and he relatively liked it. He would insure only the strongest of lions were allowed in. Bousvor lifted his head as a lioness roared her challenge. He had seen her bright yellow pelt coming and wondered her intent. Now it was clear. The tawny lion rose to his feet and trotted effortlessly out to meet her.
"I answer." He rumbled deep in his throat as he circled. His green eyes searching for an opening to attack. Bousvor twitched his tail tuff hoping to fool her with a distraction. Two steps, three.

To say the least, Erimentha wasn't prepared to actually get an answer. She thought for sure that anyone close would ignore her but it was clear that would never happen. It made this pride even better than before. They weren't going to run from a fight and in fact would go headlong into one. Yep, she was going to make this her home even if it killed her to do so. Little did she know, she wasn't calling this home this time around.
"Glad you did." Erimentha replied, watching him with her pink eyes as he circled. Despite his trying, Bousvor was not able to distract her with his tail. In fact she was just entranced by how strong he looked and how she was so glad she got someone who would be a challenge to come out and fight her. Had she not been lost in her train of thought she probably would have noticed what was about to befall her.

Just because something didn't work, didn't mean it wasn't worth the try. He'd been trying to distract her to create an opening for himself to attack. Then he saw that while she was watching him, she also did not seem to be all there. He frowned. Did she think this was a game? Very soon she'd find out it was a painful game to ignore.
The tawny male took advantage of her distration. He turned suddenly toward her and took a broad swip at her chest with his paw. His claws hooked to catch into any flesh they met. Bousvor would teach not to daydream while facing an opponent. He wasn't aiming to kill or even seriously maim. This was a test of a rogue's skills.

Oh. My. Gosh. Was all her brain could think when she felt the painful swipe against her chest, his claws digging into her flesh. It was rare for her to take a blow but even rarer for her to get distracted like this. She knew this was not a good sign. Maybe it was her excitement and maybe even nerves that were getting the best of her today. Then again, there was a lot at stake. Erimentha quickly pulled herself back, out of reach. She gritted her teeth and tried to ignore the throbbing pain in her chest. The wound wasn't as bad as it could have been. Especially since she had been in a daydream. Erimentha silently thanked him in her head for not killing her or hurting her any worse which he most certainly could have with how close they were.
"Guess I better focus on the now." She said quietly, though he probably could have heard her. Erimentha grinned as she readied herself. With her nerves and now wound it was apparent to her that she probably wasn't going to win this fight, and he would probably soon realize that too. But hopefully he would at least see that she wasn't going to give up yet. Not until she really couldn't fight anymore. But even then she would be back to challenge again. Without anymore thought Erimentha charged at the male, spinning herself a little so that she could make a blow on his leg. Even if she wasn't going to win this, she was going to make sure he would not forget her and that the next time they met it would be on a happier note. Maybe she would challenge him again in that case. The lioness shook her head as she jumped back. Keep you head in the game.

The blow connected. It was a solid hit, though perhaps not dehibilitating. He remained unfazed as she backed away. Bousvor did hear her comment, but didn't both replying. If she hadn't come to the game ready, then it wasn't likely she'd impress him with the time she had left. Still he gave her the benefit of the doubt. He was about to stalk toward her when she came charging in. Instinctively he protected his face, but she went for his leg. He felt it weaken.
Bousvor hopped for a moment then went after her with a double pawed attack. Aiming for her front legs to drive her back a bit. His leg was going to bother him for a couple days for sure.

Erimentha winced when she felt the blow to her front legs, stumbling a little when she landed on them. He was certainly quick. This was certainly going to be tough. Rather, he was going to be tough to get through. But if she could make it through him she would be home, literally. No matter what she wasn't going to give up on her dream. Erimentha growled a little in attempt to keep herself from groaning as she tried to move her front legs. She turned herself once more, this time she made an attempt to bite at his back. Erimentha could feel that a couple more blows would leave her out of the fight, not dead or seriously injured but unable to go on for today. If only she could land a stronger attack. She needed to find his weakness quick.

Something told him this was the end. Either the lioness was running out of steam, or she'd had enough for now. All it would take was him knocking a couple more supporting pegs out and down she'd go. She had already taken blows to the chest and front legs, so that's where he intented to strike.
Bousvor saw her coming in with fangs bared. He knew this would hurt unless he got out of the way. The male scrambled and twisted, somehow slipping under her bite. Even he wasn't sure how he got away. He turned back to face her, then barreled bodily into her. Aiming his attack for her front quarters; claws or fangs, that was the end already weaked and he'd take a risk to bring it down.

It was shocking to her when the male managed to get out the way out of her attack. She was certain she hadn't made a mistake when aiming but something must have gone awry. When she turned around to face Bousvor she found herself faced with an attack and it would take her sheer luck to get out of this. At least that was what she thought until she noticed he was aiming at her weak spot; her legs and chest. Erimentha managed to turn to her side at the very last second and instead he barreled into her side which knocked the wind from her but she remained. He meant business and she already knew she had limited time. It was not going to go well for her.
Erimentha steeled herself, she would not allow herself to feel pain. Once she caught her breath she quickly rushed up on the male once more. This time she was aiming at his jaw. It was a hard place to get but if she could reach it she could surely take him down. Of course, this also meant she was taking a risk by getting that close. She knew she could keep off a fatal attack but it would be hard for her to avoid anything less than that. magnadearel ((So it lasts two more posts. XD))

~Kiana_Nala~ Want to do a wrap up post for her? She saw him coming and managed to deflect his attack to a stronger portion. It was a good move by her. Bousvor huffed a couple times himself from the force of impact. She didn't take much time for a come around either. He was ready for her, though he feigned not. At the last moment he turned full on into her attack. Allowing her momentum to bring her to him. She wanted his jaw, she got it.
The tawny male several swift vicious bites at anything she brought into range. By attacking his jaw she opened herself to an attack. It only required a small bit of movement to strike several places on his part. She had learned this lesson the hard way. Bousvor knew the fight was over after his final attack. He shook his head to diswade her from continuing.
"You have failed. Rest, return if you like." He stood there watching until she left.

While Erimentha was shocked that her attack made contact she was even more shocked that he had wanted her to. Though, when he bit her front leg a couple of times she could help but let out a roar of pain. Admittedly her pride might have been hurt a little more when he simply shook her off and told her she had failed. She huffed, trying to once more ignore the pain that was radiating all over her front. "You're a great fighter. Once I've healed I will return. Next time I'll beat you." Erimentha grinned, the look on her maw was clearly that of pain but she had confidence in her smile that couldn't be shaken. Even if it took her forever, she would beat him.magnadearel ((Sure. c: Should I start another?))
