![User Image](https://i1358.photobucket.com/albums/q776/chisohmasoa/Certs/utsukiadultcert.png) Suki, as Lucia called him was a proud storyteller of his pride. His job, wasn't as easy as others think, but the good part was the traveling. Although meeting others was just as grand, today, with the sun overpassing the clouds, he and his best friend had started to run after some wildebeests. See, he wasn't as good as hunting because of his sheer physical inabilities but he, with all the stories he was told about hunting. He was an excellent strategy expert! He could feel the ground rumble every time his paw had pushed off the ground. Dodging and gearing the wildebeests' fears in opposite directions, and directions enough for his friend. He was quickly running out of breath though, and with that zoned out... He couldn't hear for a split of a second, the only thing that could be heard was the thumping in his heart.. Everything seemed to slow down.. He knew his body couldn't take much longer. Which he knew that it wasn't doing so hot as he exerted now so much energy trying to keep up with the hooved animals..
It was, as if he threw himself, in to reality again and called out to his companion.. "Tsuitō!" Sound, came back as he lead the wildebeest right in to their trap. His mane flying in the wind as he fell back from his full strides, and let his companion take over.
![User Image](https://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s92/ChiSohma/th_ChiSohma_eskimofakebreeding.png) The story collector, was not alone. He was accompanied by Tsuitō. A hyena that devoted his life to the young lion a few short years ago because he saved him from himself. Which in the process- Tsuito also saved the lion from a set of bandits. Why he had done it? From his life before meeting Suki, he had felt empty- unfulfilled with his 'pack' and he had been the quiet follower to said bandits.. But he couldn't shake the look that the young lion gave him, and when they were about to attack, he defended.. and for once he felt... needed. Thus, from then on, he followed the young lion everywhere he went, and the mission he was on, Tsu devoted himself to it too. He had excellent memory, and whatever Utsuki could not remember. Tsuito would.
Food, became easy now. Especially with both of them working together, he knew Utsuki now, the physical restrictions the young lion had, he would supplement for with his own bone crushing jaws and skills.
He had been hiding under a rock that had covered him almost completely and felt the earth rumble as hooves started to head his way.. And as soon as the legs rushed passed him, it was if- he too had slowed down ... and had immediately and instinctively threw himself out of the rock's shield and threw all his weight upon a huge buck.. Pushing himself up on top of the beast and grabbed his skull with his jaws... Then with a swift movement, and jaw locking ability, he threw his weight entirely to one side as the sound of bone echoed.. Which caused him to roll around dangerously as wildebeests flew passed... He didn't let go.. Not until the meat shield's friends had all cleared out...
The words to follow... "Hey! You got one!" The lion said cheerfully as he trotted over.. Confident in his companion's skills. If it weren't for him, who knows how long he had to wait to finally get food. With the hyena on board his journey, he knew anything and everything would be a success but.. He didn't know the land's residence... but given the history of the pridelanders- if anyone had saw Tsuito and Utsuki's relationship.. they would think Suki a traitor... "Woah.. he's huge!" Helping to pull the beast off his friend. He saw the bone, and sighed. "Let's pray.." Bowing his head and the hyena followed suit as he slithered from under the massive weight.
"Let the God of prey, take this soul, as balance was bound to be fulfilled, let this soul find rest and let the body fill us. What take from you, only when needed, and surely without vain.. Let you take care of it's family, and grant them strength and blessings to go on...."

![User Image](https://i1358.photobucket.com/albums/q776/chisohmasoa/Certs/utsukiadultcert.png) After they were done praying, he was ready to start seperating the meat. It was odd, this tradition, but when you come from a pride that feeds the many, you tend to try and give as much as possible. What he would do, now that he was in the roguelands- was leave pieces in different places for different predators. Scavengers, or others that just couldn't find the luck to snag something. His friend Tsuitō was way more capable of bringing down even the toughest of the prey beasts and for that, Utsuki was grateful but he was responsible and humble. Tearing legs off and using momentum to throw them. Further and further away. Just so they had enough time to get their own meal in.
Til during his display, he heard a rock turn over. He wouldn't have paid so much attention, but Tsuitō heard it to.
![User Image](https://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s92/ChiSohma/th_ChiSohma_eskimofakebreeding.png) It was a swifter kill than he had imagened. The snapping of his neck was more unexpected, but he had hoped for the best from it. Agreeably to Ustuki's kindness, separating the body and giving to those in need were right up his ally and the more he spent time with the lion, the more humble and good will he felt within him. It was surely a gift to meet him. It wasn't until the rock turned over, that Tsuitō turned his head towards the sound. A hyena looked way more intimidating, and when he stepped forward and jumped on a medium sized rock scattered about where they were. He found the source. He turned to Utsuki and gave him a motion, a hyena greeting a lioness was probably not the best route for a meeting.
When his friend gave him the signal he snatched up a piece of an arm that he hadn't thrown and set it down to the hyena before heading off to where Tsuitō said. Of course, when he gave 'that' signal, he knew it was because it was another like him, or it was better to greet. "Hello?" He called out, with a friendly tone, not having a fierce bone in his body.
"We caught something if your hungry- we're friendlys'." A smile crossed his maw as he stopped only a few strides away. To ensure that he wasn't interrupting or intimidating. "Got some extra." Tilting his head til he saw a browned tanned lioness. Then he remembered where they were close to. Surely she had to be from a pride, but why out here alone? "Hello...?" Once more. The hyena laid down watching over Ustuki as he waited to eat for him. It was rude, but he knew that Utsuki was simply trying to buy himself time. While he did that, he'd protect the meat.
