Varali awoke on the morning of her coming of age ceremony with a smile and well rested. Her mother had insisted on her and her siblings getting a good nights rest for today. She said they wouldn't want to meet Eywa exhausted. She was right. Varali was beyond excited to become an adult and pass through this milestone, but admittedly a bit nervous about it. A quick look around the hammock told her that her mother was already awake and ready as she was not inside. Her father was gone as well, probably meeting with her grandparents and other family members. Not that this wasn't just as important to him but this milestone meant something different to Vinata and Varali knew that. Her mother was not born in the Navi but came here at a very young age by chance after getting lost from her parents. Vinata's whole life and perspective was changed by this pride and Varali's father Silron'zem. So this milestone just reaffirmed that Eywa did exist, that she watched over her children and that everything she and her children experienced was because of her. Maybe it wasn't entirely true but her mother believed it.
Varali looked over her siblings for a moment before making her way out of their family hammock for the last time. She would live in a single hammock until she found someone to form Zahalu with, the bond, one that would never break. Of course Varali didn't really think about that and in some way she was like her mom. She didn't think that a mate or cubs were in her future. Her mother only said "we'll see" with a laugh when she mentioned it though. "Mother, I see you." Varali beamed when she saw her mother sitting outside of the hammock, her eyes trained her paws.

Vinata had awoken when her mate, Silron'zem did, to go off and talk with his parents. Later, once all of their children had become one of the people officially they would gather together for the last time. Her children would never again sleep in their hammock with them. This made her extremely sad to think about but at the same time it made her happy. Her children had grown entirely to fast for her but with this milestone to come they would begin their lives and hopefully one day have cubs of their own. She wasn't looking for that to happen anytime soon though. A new mother like Vinata could only handle them becoming adults at the moment, not being a grandmother too. With a light sigh she looked around at her fully grown children's faces as they slept. This was truly a bittersweet sight.
Deciding she needed some fresh air before she sent her children off to find Eywa and speak with her for the first time she stepped outside of the hammock. It didn't take long for her one of her children to awake and come out. Varali was apparently going to be the first to grow up. Vinata's eyes scanned her daughter. She looked beautiful. While she lacked her father's stripes it could be seen in her hair, coloring and marks that she was a combination of the two of them. A perfect mix. "Varali, I see you." She replied to her daughter with a soft smile. "You look beautiful today." Vinata said as she nuzzled her daughter lovingly. "Are you excited to meet Eywa?" Vinata could only talk right now, her heart felt hard in her chest but the tears she was sure that would come today stayed at bay. "Your father is so proud of you. As am I."
