Race: Mimic Rabbit-- Rosalia is from a sub-race of the mimic demons that are said to be descended from the Hare of Inaba. They appear mostly human with rabbit ears and a tail. They seem to have a sweet and pleasant appearance and demeanor, but are known widely to be tricksters. Their general modus operandi is to mimic their target's voice and utilize this to act as an inner demon. This does not rely on their natural ability alone; they must usually first observe their target to find the insecurities that is best to prey on to gather the most fear.
Rosalia comes from the Black Rose clan, whom possess have grey thorn-like markings on their arms and legs, and specialize in rose/thorn magic. As the target falls into the trap, he or she starts to hallucinate and see thorns surrounding them and closing in, adding to the fear produced.
Natural Ability: Resonance-- Mimic rabbits are extremely adept listeners, resulting in them being able to mimic a voice completely after they have heard it.
Personality: Having grown used to the trickery of her race, Rosalia has developed a sense of wariness and distrust, and is unwilling to talk to strangers. Raised in a single parent family, Rosalia has been used to letting her strict and domineering mother tell her what to do and lead her around. Her mother has always had high hopes for her, but after being elected clan leader, she has grown mindful of their reputation in their clan, and is more perturbed and anxious for Rosalia to meet those hopes. Upon the insistence of her mother, Rosalia is hesitantly trying her best to open up, but she stutters every time she talks, and is easily startled. She is a horribly, horribly meek ghoul. Rosalia would much rather avoid conversation if she can and thus, pretends to be mute, writing her replies down on purple sticky notes.
She does, however, enjoy listening to others talk and usually creeps around in the shadows; eavesdropping just to hear their voices. Rosalia finds all sorts of voices intriguing and secretly practices mimicking them in her room. She also has a fondness for deep bass voices, for some unfathomable reason.
When Rosalia manages to trust someone, she will follow them to the ends of the earth. She is blindingly loyal until something is done that completely shatters her trust. Rosalia has an unerring sense of justice that overtakes everything else; after finding out some of her childhood friends she had once completely idolized had tricked someone, she never spoke to them again. Rosalia would really much rather use her ability for laughs and for justice! (Secretly, of course.)
Rosalia actually really doesn't mind being at Amityville, because she gets to hear a wide range of voices, and also to further her secret ambition to be a spy and uncover dirty secrets.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy?
Rosalia is an extremely meek ghoul. Her clan leader, frustrated by this, decided that she needed to learn to break out of her shell and develop her abilities.
FEAR Ability: Doomed Thorns (Gambler's Chance) -- Rosalia summons a single circle of grey thorns to surround both her and the enemy, which releases a poison as it slowly constricts. Once the thorns touch Rosalia, they dissipate. With practice, more circles will manifest until she is able to summon a complete sphere of thorns.
