Roxy was pissed, furious, livid! She couldn't believe what she had just found out, but all she could bring herself to do right now was run. Run, run, run. In her feral form there was so much freedom normally, but now all it was, was a means of getting away from the betrayers. The little, sleek wolf-form was growling and snarling and very much not paying attention to where she was going, just barely dodging trees and nearly falling over herself as she ran.

Riley had been separated from his father for a few weeks now. His father had raised him alone which was fine by him because while he knew and loved his mother he had always been much more like his father. He had been enjoying his solitude with occasional visits both to and from his father to check in and discuss the daily goings on in his unlife. His peace was suddenly broken by angry growls and the sound of something running frantically through the forest towards him. Curious he strained his eyes to find the cause of the disturbance in the woods. He noticed the feral creature coming towards him, watching it he noticed how distressed this creature seemed, her sleek form crashed through the forest to continue her run. Curious he stepped out closer to where she was headed avoiding her direct path as he had no clue who she was or how she would react.

As Roxy ran, her four paws caring her nearly haphazardly across the forested ground, her mind and thoughts were a mess. They were a mash-up of the anger she felt in finding out she had been stolen from her father and raised by a fake mother and by the fact that her father never... saved her from her kidnapper.
In her flooding thoughts of rage that was growing into a feeling of despair, she closed her eyes as she ran, losing track of herself as she ran. That was certainly not the smartest of ideas as she barreled through the trees, somehow missing them by a hair. However, that was not the case as she came crashing head-on into a massive body.
Yelping out in a high-pitched whine, she fell back on the ground in front of whoever it was that she crashed into, her dark red eyes glaring up, before slowly widening as she finally made it to seeing the other's face. Jumping up on her paws, she skittered back some, ears pinned back against her crazy mane of fur as she tried to figure out what just happened. Stress and shock making her brain work very slowly

Riley grunted as he took the impact and fell to the ground. He hadn't realized that the damn thing didn't even have her eyes open and would veer towards him at the last second for a full on impact. Rubbing his face he looked around to get a bearing on his surroundings again before finally laying eyes on the other creature across from them.
"Why the hell can't you look where you were going?" he asked out of annoyance and frustration. He wasn't seriously hurt by the collision but it didn't feel that nice either. Staring at her he identified her as a vampire either Gangrel or Gangrel spawn by her animalistic appearance, however he noticed something off about her.
When she jumped up to face him he too stood up and looked her dead in the eyes waiting to see what she would do. She seemed strangely feral even for being Gangrel or Gangrel dissent. He could sense something was off with her. She seemed distraught about something, whether he cared or not he didn't quite know yet.

Roxy was in shock at the size of the other that she had just barreled into. And boy was he different. Her mind even wandered so far as to think on how his feral form might look, but then she shook her head. Why she was even bothering to think on such a thing was beyond her... especially with everything that was going on.
His frustrated and annoyed question to her caused her to give a soft growl in reply. Of course it was then that she realized she couldn't give him her own snarky reply properly, shifting back to her normal appearance. Her mouth opened, ready to just tear into him, but she then she realized that she just didn't have it in her.
With an all too defeated whine, she plunked back down on the ground, hands falling between her legs and ears still pinned back. ".... Sorry...." she muttered, but she just couldn't look at him. She felt stupid for crashing into him, and just shitty as a whole.

Riley's eyes softened when he saw how defeated this female was. He recognized that antagonizing her further wasn't going to benefit either of them and at this point the only thing he could think to do was at least help her through the daytime as she was obviously out of her element and hadn't any access to immediate shelter for when the sun rose.
"Come on, get up" he said extending a hand towards her. "Don't worry about it, neither of us were hurt." he reassured her. He wasn't one to get into other peoples business but he couldn't let her alone in this condition, at least until a fresher night.

Roxy sighed and fiddled with her claws and flopped her tail back and forth as she sat there, just ready to take on the sun so she wouldn't have to deal with the bull and craziness that was newly introduced to her unlife. Not only that, but having the run in with this big ha----... guy, just didn't do much for her in ways of self esteem. God she must have looked stupid.
The sound of his voice made her turn her eyes up to him, a bit shocked at his tone and [giant!] outreached hand. 'damn.. he's huge... was running through her mind as she reached up, pausing for a moment before grasping his hand and standing. "Thanks... " she murmured softly.
Whatever it was about him, she couldn't tell, had her completely thrown off. Whoever he was had not only managed to stall her brain and cool her jets, but render her speechless... such a feat. [[Sorry for the late... brain stall e e;]]
