Natural Ability: Fluid Form: not so much true shape-shifting, this ability allows Shadow hounds to warp to fit in... unusual locations as though they were boneless. Although they do not naturally take a human form, their ability to cram themselves into other shadows, including humanoid ones, can lead the under-informed to mistake this for true shape shifting. Really it's more along the lines of being silly putty. Hungry, fangy, silly putty.
Personality:
Gourmand: Ves loves to eat, and considers it a rather wonderful form of social study and bonding. In spite of her relatively vast collection of sharp teeth, Ves herself isn't that picky about what she eats, and will try pretty much anything once, though as one might guess, most of her meal isn't going to be vegetarian friendly. And there will be a LOT of it.
Dominant With a canine-like natural form, it shouldn't be too surprising that Ves also comes with something resembling pack behavior, and since her pack didn't come with her, she'll likely attempt to make one, and in her own mind at least, she'll be the head of it. This isn't without perks, and taking the lead will cause her to view others in her circle with a sort of matriarchal care, as though they're her responsibility, but she expects the same familiar devotion in return. Don't try and make friends with Ves if you have any idea that you're going to get a free ride to being coddled, that's just not how she works. She expects to grow while at Amnity, and expects that her 'family' will too.
She accepts teachers as dominant forces in the school, people who have earned their place, when she's still looking for her own place, though having another friend compete with her to be the dominant force in her 'pack' there may be issues. She might accept a co-authority, someone who compliments her own personality, but if the secondary authority starts becoming a hot potato role, passing student to student, she'll become flustered an frustrated, wanting more stability in her 'family unit'.
Lets get Physical: ...Not quite the way it sounds, but Vesper likes to learn by DOING, and finds it easier than trying to memorize things from text books. It's frustrating and boring, (although some stories are kind of interesting, she'll struggle to cough back up relevant dates if grilled. They just have trouble sticking in her head.) She'll do her best with these things, but frustration and failure will make her testy, and not much fun to study with, much as she'll admit she appreciates anyone who will help her out with the more tedious parts of learning.
Tone Ves has... issues... with sarcasm. It's not that she doesn't understand it, though being a monster, some people may assume that her tendency to not use it means she's just not that smart, but it's not the case. She understands sarcasm just fine, but she doesn't see the POINT. It doesn't help 'the pack' grow, and emotional attacks just seem kinda... sad. It's like the weapon on something without any 'real' weapons, and using it with her will definitely annoy her. "Pack" members (Friends) will be asked to knock it off, at least in her presence, and enemies can expect at least a condescending eye roll for their failure at (un)life. She prefers direct communication, and similarly has a huge problem if she finds out she's been lied to, something that can be a permanent deal breaker on friendship, when she's willing to forgive a lot else, even bodily injury.
It's not that she can't, or won't, occasionally be hurtful herself, though if she is it's rarely with that specific intent, she just doesn't see it as an logical way to deal with a problem. Of course given that her usual answer to a problem is physical confrontation, she hardly has the moral highground on the issue.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? A pack is only as good as it's weakest member, and Vesper lives by that theory. There's a lot she can learn by interacting with other creatures, and she wants that, all of it, even the hard parts, even though she already knows it's going to be a rough road with lots of urge to bite people that shouldn't be bitten. She's gonna do it though, and she's going to come out stronger for it, and as a result, so will her Pack.
FEAR Ability: [The Mind]- Shadow Jump: Vesper abuses the hell out of her natural ability to morph with and hide in shadows, and moves rapidly between shadows in the area, changing her shape and making herself harder to hit. She needs to come out and therefore fully reveal herself to attack, but it's hard to attack something if you're not sure where it starts and ends.
Physical Description:
For someone who eats as much as she does, Vesper is surprisingly lean. Not skinny, not svelte or curvy, -lean-, like a hunting animal. She doesn't have particularly notable curves, and seeing them in others tends to make her... salivate a bit.
Not even that tall, Vesper stands in around 5'6, but she doesn't feel this is at all a detriment.

Hair Colour/Style: Black, short and shaggy, sort of a feral version of a pixie cut meets buzz cut.
Skin Colour: Black
Clothing Style/Colours: ((Very open to CC)) I would love to see the 'mask' on her somehow, and colors that resemble shadow and night, black, gray, purple or blue. She's definitely the sort of girl who would go with pants over a skirt, and probably goes barefoot or in big impressive boots, depending on her mood.
Extra: Fluffy black tail and pointed or wolf like ears, and sharp white teeth in a slightly wide mouth.
