Leenah was busy trying to get her den cleaned out. In the corner of her den were her valuables, mostly small trinkets, nothing particularly special. Across from her trinkets she had a soft fur which she used to sleep on. Right now her den was simple, but she liked the simple things in life so she didn't worry too much about it. Eventually she wanted to gather up some flowers and decorate with them. She would probably ask for someone to escort her to the rogue lands so she could pick all sorts of different flowers.
As she swept the grown with her tail, trying to smooth the ground, her thoughts went to her children who still paid her little attention. She was getting used to it of course. They had their own lives to live and couldn't be bothered to visit her.
She let out a sigh. Perhaps she ought to see them. Leave her den for once like Haiba suggested. She felt so safe in her den though. She hated to admit it, but it scared her to think that the other pride members wouldn't like her. The thought of them hating her caused her to stay in her den, hoping that they would come to her instead. She couldn't stay there forever of course, but she did her best to avoid leaving.
Once she was done sweeping she stood outside her den and admired it from the outside. It didn't look half bad, she decided.

Haiba decided to give Leenah a few days to go out and meet other cheetahs. He didn't want to push his luck, after all. He knew that to get what he wanted he needed to wait and be patient. So patient he was. He went about his daily tasks that were required of him, flirted with a few other pretty females, wondering if they'd become his next target after Leenah.
Ah, the purple female had never really left his mind. She was incredible to look at and so very sweet...the perfect combination to win over easily. So far everything seemed to be going very well for him. Haiba did grow a bit concerned, though, when he didn't see Leenah at all for the few days he left her alone. He wondered if she were brave enough to go out an explore.
He decided that's what he'd do if she were in her den when he went to investigate. Give her a tour of the pride so she could become familiar with it. So, when he went back and found her standing outside her den, he knew what he had to do. Rather than announce his presence like he had last time, Haiba quietly snuck up behind Leenah, a playful grin on his face. He pounced and landed beside her, leaning in to n** playfully at her ear.
"Gotcha!" he said with a laugh.

"I've been well," Haiba said with a nod and a smile. "But better now that you're in my day once again." Oh yes, he wasn't going to let up on the flirting this time around. After a tour of the pride he hopefully would make it very clear to her what he was after. And, since she was still such a homebody, he wondered if she'd mind at all.
"You know what? I think that would make it just about perfect," he said with a nod after inspecting her den quickly. It was bare, but that was fine. She was new, after all. "Maybe I can suggest some ways to make it better...after a tour?" he suggested, grinning over his shoulder at her. "While we're out and about exploring the pride you can pick some flowers," he added. "A nice touch after all."
He moved back to stand before her, tilting his head to the side with a charming grin on his face. 'What do you say?"

“Good idea,” she said with a nod. She grabbed a couple more blue flowers and set them down in her small pile. “This was such a wonderful outing! I never would have thought there was a place here with flowers. I might have to come again, just to enjoy watching them.” She said cheerfully, picking up her flowers in her mouth. As they headed back toward her den, she couldn't help but have a bounce in her step. Today had been such a wonderful surprise! She had no idea how to could thank such a kind cheetah.
As they walked back she looked at all the sites they passed, enjoying every moment of it. She let her tail go over to Haiba's tail and brush against it, to show a sign of thanks. During the walk back she kept close to Haiba's side.
Once she reached the den she carefully set the flowers down. “Now to decorate!” she declared, her voice full of excitement. “Hm, maybe we could braid them, and hang them off the jagged edges of the tops of the den?” She paced around her den trying to think of other ideas. “Or perhaps dig holes in the walks and have the flowers peaking through the walls? What do you suggest?”
