[1v1] Ain't it fun [Circe x Sparrow]

Circe, being Circe of course had once again made her way to the gym to let off some much needed steam. That and she loved the way her body felt after a fight. Nothing like having the goo kicked out of you to make your brain think straight. Then again, she was odd no matter how you looked at it. The ghoul smiled a little at herself. Despite being completely alone in life she felt a bit more peaceful as of late, probably from the trip home. . . Maybe the four boxes of donuts had something to do with it too. It was hard to be unhappy when donuts were involved. "I'll need to get more." Circe whispered as she looked down at her hands, making them into fists then releasing them over and over again until she was satisfied with her movements. Seemed there wasn't any lingering injuries anywhere that might hinder her if she was to get in a fight. After her hands were fully checked out she turned her attention to her legs and concluded that they were fine as well. Of course she hadn't felt injured but Circe decided it was best to give a once over just in case some small problem could cause her to loose.

With a shrug Circe headed over towards the mats, surveying the students that were already engaging in spars. Seemed like there were a lot of boils and ghouls already paired up. "Oh, they're matched pretty well." Circe's black eyes focused on a pair that was duking it out on the other side of the gym. "Alright, let's see if anyone's free." The ghoul said as she once more continued her search for a sparring partner.

Sparrow determined that he had spent a great deal of time in the gym as of late. Perhaps it was partially because he still was not entirely satisfied with his own strength (it was not as though he had a great deal of physical abilities, other than swinging the scythe around), but a part of it also had to do with his inability to make a difference and the fact that he had not managed to make the Student Council for a second year in a row.

Needless to say, sparring was an excellent source of distraction for Sparrow, whose mind seemed to be filled with all sorts of negativity as of late. And, seeing as how he disliked feeling in such a way, he had determined to get over it.

Standing in the center of the gym, dressed his normal clothes except without the jacket, the sleeves of his white dress shirt pushed up around his elbows, Sparrow summoned his weapon and surveyed the area, blinking a bit as his gaze landed on a ghoul near the entrance. Smiling a little, he moved towards her.

"Good afternoon," he said cheerfully, bending over in a slight bow. "My name is Sparrow; how might you be?"

Since Circe had come to Amityville she had seen and experienced many things, mostly death, but not once had she ever seen someone bow to her. Okay, so maybe it wasn't that kind of bowing but she didn't seem to care about the small details. "Nice to meet you. I'm Circe." The ghoul replied, without the same grace he seemed to carry. Circe was positive she hadn't seen this boil in the gym before but then again it was possible she hadn't been paying very good attention. She tended to not notice people's faces, just their kicks and punches. "You looking for a sparring partner?" The ghoul grinned with excitement. Her body ached to hit someone and while she felt a little awful at that fact, overall she didn't care. It would be her first time fighting another reaper, but she welcomed it anyways.
