My tastes are so different from that of my parents.
And I suppose, but Shikamaru's mom is like a housewife now, and she's still young.
Can you imagine Temari doing that?
I can't even imagine them having kids, but that's just because of the matirity levels involved.
It's a wonder Shikamaru survived past his first year. >_>

At this point, Kishimoto isn't all that concerned with pairings.
It's only the fans.
Kishimoto could leave all the characters single, and I'm sure the story would still be just as good;
and even, possibly, better.
Because then Naruto's loss/victory would be more apparent.
