Personalities:

Dom comes off as a bit snarky, his default expression somewhere between a scowl and a smirk. He’s always had a need to be in control of the situation at hand and gets quite grumpy when things aren't going the way he wants them to. This coupled with his love for attention/overstepping boundaries (a result of parental neglect most likely) gets him into hypocritical territory often. ie he'll barge into your room/get up in your face as he pleases but if you do the same he'll get mad/slap the s**t out of you. Basically, the only way to get a reasonably pleasant conversation out of him is if he approaches you first. He's starting to get better at being around and working with people, but years of being on his own have conditioned him to be wary and defensive and has led him to hide his true feelings behind a cocky exterior. It’s easier for him to hold others at arm’s length rather than delve into the complications of close friendships. Nevertheless, he’s willing to suck it up and contribute what he can during team missions, surprisingly focused and efficient in his process to get things done.

Cessair is pretty much the little sister Dom never wanted. Sounding dangerously close to a teenage girl, the dullahan is chipper, talkative, and at times bratty. She was once a painfully shy student, so much that she would leave her head at home when going out so she’d never have to speak to anyone. As a weapon, Cessair feels freer than she’s ever been and enjoys using the telepathic link with Dom as a sort of mental stream for her never-ending conscious thoughts. She often tries to be his voice of reason and is actually quite level-headed ( 8D ) during battles, and while Dom will probably never admit, she’s saved his a** a couple of times. The two of them may bicker often but at the end of the day they have a mutual respect for one another. When desummoned, she is a simple engraved ring.

Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter?

Born the only child to middle class working parents, Dom had a relatively normal upbringing. He was an intelligent and cheerful boy who accepted that his parents were away more than they were at home. When the shadows began to appear he coped by confiding with his school friends, who decided it was the coolest thing ever and incorporated it into their boyish games and reimaginings. For a few years, Dom was alright, using his friends’ enthusiasm as an anchor as he pretended to blast away the darkness lurking at the edges of his vision. However, one by one they outgrew their childhood games, and as their interests turned to girls and electronics, Dom found himself alone. He never spoke of the shadows again.

His life got progressively worse after that, and somewhere along the way he became moody and brash, putting up a tough exterior but keeping mostly to himself. His parents weren’t home enough to notice much difference and for the first time he resented them. When the recruiter approached him some years later, as he worked two jobs and struggled to pay his rent on time, plagued by twisting shadows in the corners of his scant apartment every night, he didn’t look back.

Clothing Style/Colours: semi-fashionable urban wear in neutral colors with the occasional splash of neon (lime greens, electric blues, etc). Things like this, this, and this are good examples (just needs some more neon accents). He tends to roll sleeves up to the elbows when in uniform. Padded fingerless gloves are also something he wears, though the design is up to you!
