Come win a lovely family of falcons.... + one? Wait, what?
Clearly not all is how it should be. Somewhere along the line, this happy couple picked a little friend after having themselves a nice trio of eggs. Or was it before? It's your job to tell me. This is a simple prompt contest, with no length minimum or maximum. All you have to do is explain how these two met the non-falcon friend nestled so neatly within their family. It can be dramatic, funny, sentimental or something in between- there's no limit to what you can come up with! The rules are as followed:
- You must enter with a partner - You must give the children and the other bird away - You may give them to whomever you want. - They cannot be used in another contest (including pride) - Certs will need to be posted so I know who they went to! - If you would rather keep a child than a parent, that's fine, as long as the winning story remains the same. - No whimpering at/discouraging others - If Caj doesn't feel there are enough entires, he may extend the contest - you don't have to know who you're giving the chicks to before entering. - Feel free to ask questions in this thread, or pm me! . - The pink and green children are girls, the purple and other bird are boys. - The purple falcon is the father, the green falcon is the mother. Start: Now End: June 10th Colorist: Cajanic Male Name:Owner:Female Name:Owner:History:Prompt response:Male Name: (purple male) Owner: (you) Female Name: (green girly) Owner: (other you) History: (how they met, what they're like- anything you might feel needs to be covered for the prompt response to make sense) Prompt response: (Who is that purple and blue bird, and how did he end up as part of the family? Or is he part of the family at all? Explain his connection to the family of Falcons.)

Male Name: Msasi'kubwa Owner: Pearlyblue Female Name: Fola Owner: Annchen (but I'll probably play Muerte instead biggrin ) History: It all started with a cuckoo without much sense in her little head... She decided to lay her egg in a hawks nest. Luckily for her she wasn't caught in the act, and luckily for the egg the hawk parents were not that good at counting. Her little one didn't hatch in time to push the other eggs out, so the little cuckoo was raised along with his larger "siblings". Prompt response: Muerte the cuckoo is a badass little hawk, or so he thinks. His parents raised him like a hawk, and he had to be tough as nails in order to survive along with his bigger siblings. His parents figured they had gotten a runt in their litter, as neither could imagine anything as crazy as being "given" an extra egg. Surely they would have noticed that! The family sticks together so anyone questioning the hawk-ness of Muerte will have to face the wrath of the entire clan.

Male Name: Szőlő ((hungarian for grape)) Owner: Alpaca Chobi Female Name: Harita ((Indian for green)) Owner: [ Lady Kiya ] History: The smaller bird was originally captured by the family of hawks and kept as live stock and hunting practice for their own. He was too small at the time of capture to really be a meal or much of practice.
The smaller bird was aware that his time would be short lived if he didn't learn to be witty and dodge much of the impending danger he dealt with on a day to day basis. So the young small bird learned how to swindle situations to ultimately favor him self by telling long stories and even learning how to amuse his 'family'. Prompt response: No time seemed to be what it took for the happy couples chicks to grow in to full fledged hawks. This was indeed also true for the small little miss fit. The one who wasn't supposed to be but was. It actually amazed the parents that the littlest 'bundle of joy' was still around. They'd had thought that its siblings would have done it in by now. But no, the smallest flourished with its siblings thanks to its ability to entertain.
First hand both Szolo and Harita had been at the hand of this entertainment. The little bird could tell stories like no other in all of Africa. The stories were enchanting, horrifying, endearing and kept an avian on the edge of its branch.
But stories had not been why the hawk family kept this small bird around at all. The small bird was to be hunting practice for the three siblings. The two parents were wondering if raising the smaller bird among their own had been a mistake. Their kids showed no interest in doing in the little live stock.
Threats didn't work at all either on the little bird. He knew how to change the situation in to something of his favor. A real magician when it came to the spoken word was this little one. Some how threatening to break his neck turned in to a woven tale of wonder about magics and mystics that had the power to turn a bird to stone for wrongful doings.
After a while the family begrudgingly accepted the little bird in to their own ranks fully. Every once in a while they still try to give the little bird a hard time only to be met with the little birds amazing word craft.

Male Name: Asani’bilashi (Rebellious for no reason) ---> Going to Ajia'ndege in Kwa Kikombe Owner: Lollipop x l u x u r y Female Name: Binti Mfalme---> Going to Barawai in Kwa Kikombe Owner: bullterrierlove History: Asani’s personality: Asani is quite the arrogant one; he likes to consider himself a stud and, when speaking in third person, he refers to himself as “old geezer”, believing that is what the youngsters are into saying these days. He’s always trying to seem like the amazing dad and trying, maybe too hard, to fit in with younger generations. He also believes himself to be a chick magnet and so, whenever someone looks his way, begins whispering about how so’n’so was staring his way, checking him out. However, he is completely devoted to his mate and children. He believes his mate to be the best thing that’s walked the Earth and is head over heels for her. He is, without a doubt, whipped. Binti’s personality: Binti Mfalme was always a flirtatious falcon, even in her younger years. Though, not to other males, but to females. She viewed them as more pleasant than the opposite sex, and so, would rather converse the only way she knew how, with them. When she was just a small chick, her parents, namely her father, raised her with the stipulation that all males were flawed, including himself. Females, he said, were the perfect and innocent ones, and should therefore be treated as the goddesses that they were. Her father would never introduce her to another male. Rather, he introduced her to females. These females he constantly flirted with, and, when his daughter expressed an interest in how he was able to know these birds so well, he taught her tricks of his little "trade". When she eventually left her father to face the big bad world by herself, she used those tricks to get by. For, although her father taught her how to interact with females, he didn't teach her how to fend for herself. She found out very quickly that she could make friends using his method, although, some females weren't too thrilled by her desire. She also realized a few males trying similar tactics on her, and they were promptly shunned and made fun of for their lack of "finesse" that she found in them. True, she was heterosexual and desired children of her own, down the road; she wanted a falcon who was perfect for her needs, and had was up to her standards. Those other birds didn't make those cuts so she dealt with it in the only possible way that she could---teasing them. How’d they meet?: One day, they ended up flirting with the same female and, when said female simply walked off, Asani turned and started flirting with Binti. After months of flirting and such, he finally asked her to be his mate. She said no. However, Asani never gave up and continued to pursue her. After dozens of proposal, Binti finally got tired of the question and gave in, saying yes.
Prompt response: The purple and blue bird is a boy who saw Binti and Asami’s flirtatious acts, and desired to be like them. And so, he tried imitating their speech, going as far as to talk to the same birds that they “seduced” to see if he could garner the same sort of reactions.
It got to the point where he constantly stalked the family, even going as far as to sleep in their nest. Which they didn’t mind at all, strangely enough. Any others are welcome into their domain. This weird relationship continued and continued, until eventually, he couldn’t bear to part from the family. And so, to this day, they live together, and playing their little seduction games with other females.
