Prologue - An Unusual Family Chapter Status - Completed Wherein Mercy realizes that to truly see the world as she secretly desires to do she must venture away from the shelter of her family and face whats lies beyond.
A Growing Family (Finished) - The relationship between Mercy and her adoptive family is established. It is hinted at that Mercy, although the largest member of the family size wise is not the most mature and is still quite excitable and youthful. She learns that her sister Syn is expecting children and comes along to help placate their father.
Remember that Night(finished) - Mercy takes her first trip outside of herd lands to help her sister seek out the father of her baskets. Although Mercy has always wanted to travel like her sister it is likely this first trip which further inflames her towards the idea though she has yet to realize this.
Dreams of Flight (finished)- Mercy in typical Mercy fashion spends time with her new nephew Olo and encourages him to follow his dreams no matter how impossible they might seem. It is a good glimpse of the type of mare she will someday become both tenacious and supportive.
Practice Makes Perfect (finished) - Mercy meets Camaria a rare stranger to the area and luck of luck a wind Soquili as well, finally Mercy is able to take flight tips from a true flyer - something that her education has been lacking as she was raised with Usdia who new nothing of such things.
High Winds can't stop me!(finished) - A follow up lesson in flight with Camaria where Mercy will learn the finer points of flying in harsh weather. Her confidence in flying has clearly grown and she has been venturing further and further away from home.
Whats all This?(Finished) - Cheveyo having become worried about his daughter's wandering ways and her somewhat blind trust in everyone she meets arranges for her to travel and gain the training he thinks she needs to stay safe in the big wide world. Mercy is sent to Ironforge.
Babysitter - Mercy spends one last day watching after her Nieces before she leaves for her training,
The Long Good-bye - Mercy says good-bye to her family and herd for a while.
Chapter 1 - Change is in the Air Chapter Status - Almost Complete In which Mercy enters the tutelage of Kaleidoscope under Ironforges watchful eye's...and realizes that there is more to life then just wandering about to see pretty sights or living happily go luckily with your family.
A Promise Kept - During her trip to Ironforges herd,Mercy meets with Jarita's family to pass along news of her foals arrival and give the family directionsto the herd so they might visit.
The Chance of Adventure - Mercy meets Tairyn a wild and adventurous mare who drags her off for a bit of fun..a winds up keeping her out all night long.
Repercussions - Mercy faces punishment for blowing off her duties and staying out all night.
Unseen Dangers - Mercy runs across a stranger while out patrolling and things go badly, Sorin ends up fetching Kale to rescue her.
On the path to Light - Mercy trains with a passing Knight in Training under Ironforge's direction.
To Rescue a Damsel - Mercy attends a planning session for the upcoming mission to rescue a slave mare.
Delivered to the Light - Mercy and the rescue group return to the herd, Mercy is suffering from the affects of Pirata's spider's poison.
Small Steps - Mercy finds Kolli in the woods and brings him back to the herd.
A Journey Home - Mercy receives word of new foals being born in her home herd and is given leave by Ironforge to return and visit her family for a brief time, bringing Kolli with her.
Chapter 2 - A Knight is Born Chapter Status - About to Start Wherein Mercy becomes a true Knight and face's both a decision and a consequence that will change her life forever.

The Bad
The Evil Mastermind
Pirata is cold and cruel, she lives up on a mountain and has laid claim to it and all of its surrounding area. There she rules over a herd of like-minded individual's, promising them power and the feeding of their various hungers in return for their loyal service. Her fellow herd members are trained and function as scouts, warriors and tacticians...the menial labor is of course seen to by the slaves. These slaves are generally prisoners of war or Soquili captured while crossing Pirata's land.
Pirata is open to all RP - from recruiting minions, to capturing a slave (who can escape whenever you like if you need this sort of thing for your backstory/plot). She is not the type to kill or attack on sight (she's more brains then brute) and is a little bit on the off side..so if you want to interact with a darker Soq without the immediate danger of death and destruction then Pirata or her daughter Syphax (below) might be a good choice. She'll probably try to lure them to her side or capture them however. She is also interested in other mutants - mainly stallions, so that she might further her line with them. (3/5 breedings free - stallion must also be maxed for the 5th slot. Will not Lifemate OOCly but will lead a stallion on and elude to such a thing to get what she wants ICly.)
The Arachnid Heir
Syphax is well aware that her position is precarious at best, after her older brothers betrayal and all around disappointing turn out Syphax is out to prove that she is just as clever and capable as her mother...while also making sure that her mother doesn't start to think she's trying to take over. It's a fine line to walk..making your mother proud without becoming a threat to her power, but Syphax does fairly well. She is younger and brasher and a bit more likely to act without thinking things through all the way, but don't let her inexperience fool you - she is every bit her mothers daughter and doesn't really have a good bone in her body.
Syphax is open for any type of RP, she too will attempt to capture a slave (though is less likely to succeed and thus might be the better choice for a 'close call' type RP) or recruit someone of a darker heart. Her mother will also seek to use her to cement ties with other darker lineages and so she is open for an 'arranged partnership' of sorts (what? Pirata's trying to build an evil Empire here!)
The Arctic Predator
Glacier is as cold as his name implies, caring for nothing beyond his own personal desires at any given time. He views the inhabitants of the land as little more then walking meat and perhaps, if he's bored, things to toy with. Their overly emotional reactions to him are somewhat amusing and although he honestly doesn't understand why they insist on getting so pointlessly attached to one another the way they flail and moan and scream when he interferes with their lives can make an other wise boring day a little bit less so.
He's not entirely stupid however, like most predators he has a highly developed sense of self preservation and while he might toy with the weak and certainly will fight if he's cornered - he generally prefers to disappear when actual stiff resistance shows its face. Not that it matters to him - he's a wanderer and there are always more to torment on the road ahead, why bother expending energy against strong prey when he could find something which requires a bit less effort down the road.
Glacier is open for any sort of evil related RP, need someone terrified? Need a life or death encounter? Need someone in danger so that someone else can save them? Glacier is your man! Injuries and what have you from any fights can be discussed and pre-planned ahead of time.
The Purist
Jormungander and his mate Alti believe that Kalona-kind are the only truly deserving Soquili in the land. They have a special hatred of half-bloods, viewing them as a diluting of pure blood and would just as soon kill them as speak to them.
Or at least they would if they didn't actually ..maybe...need them. You see Jorm and Alti have been wandering the landscape attempting to recruit other Kalona to their cause, to create a Kalona army that will rise up and bring the other Soquili breeds to heel, to serve as slaves where they belong. Unfortunately for this dynamic duo..pure blooded Kalona seem to be in short supply and so they are tentatively considering letting the halfbloods in to enjoy the ride..as long as they promise not to further dilute the blood and only breed to their fellow Kalona and half Kalona kind. Jormungander and Alti are obviously on the lookout for other Kalona and Jorm is open for Kalona rp, half Kalona RP OR less then friendly (aka they will try to kill you) encounters with other Soquili breeds.
The Sorcerer
BlackIce is a fan of potions..and poison. He tests his concoctions on a fat and disabled raven named Scourge who he found as a chick - its likely poor Scourge is disable due to the various 'potions' BlackIce has made him eat since finding him. He is prompted to continue his experiments by a second - and far smarter - pied raven named Plague who was sent to keep tabs on him by his fathers familiar and secret controller White Raven.
BlackIce works for his mother, attempting to help her secure the power she craves in any way he can and is open for any sort of RP, he will trade potions and poison's for information or other ingredients and fancies himself some sort of Sorcerer. If you looking for a love potion - BlackIce is probably not your best bet (unless said potion will be used for a nefarious purpose)..but if you looking for a poison well..he's a good one to try! BlackIce is also willing to teach his dark arts to suitable students..or entertain ladies of suitable families.
The Good
The Saviour
Mercy is everything her name implies, she is kind, compassionate and empathetic. Although she started life as a naive and sheltered individual Mercy has woken up to the truth of the world around her and now that she knows it? Well she can't go back to her sheltered and happy life without trying to change it.
When push comes to shove Mercy will always do the right thing, even if its harder, even if it hurts her. Mercy is a pure and true as a Knight can get and won't hesitate to throw herself in the face of danger to help someone in need. If you need a compassionate shoulder to cry on, someone to save you..or someone to redeem you then Mercy is likely you best bet.
The Old Knight
Ironforge has been through a great many things in his life, he is an old Knight with old scars and a stern belief system. Since becoming an elder life has not slowed down for Ironforge and he continues to teach and protect those in need.
Ironforge can come off as a bit gruff at times but he means well and has only good intentions. If you are looking for someone to teach you then Ironforge is a good choice, he is also (along with his student Mercy above) a good savior..although unlike her he is less apt to try and save those who have already crossed into a darker life. Ironforge would also be interested in meeting other Knights or ambassadors from other herds as allies in the war against evil are never to be frowned upon.
The Little Healer
Okelani is small in stature but big in heart, she is a herbalist healer who traveled with the migrating new breed Usdia into these lands. Since the main herd fractured into several smaller ones Oke now travels from small herd to small herd offering her healing skills as needed with her faithful pathfinder Hypnos.
Okelani is willing to help anyone in need of it, be that a pregnant mare, a mare wishing to be pregnant or someone wounded after a bit of bad luck. Oke will heal just about anyone..provided they do not pose her any sort of danger while she does so as she does not believe that it is for her to judge who deserves to be treated and who does not. Thus anyone in need of a healer is free to call upon Oke.
The Little Leader
One day Cheveyo meet a lady Usdia..and the next thing he knew he found himself in possession of a tiny little basket and his life as a wandering knight want to be was at an end. Feeling that he had to do right by his child Cheveyo took his basket far into the mountains where he meet a shaggy stallion named Ironforge. The shaggy stallion helped him locate a safe refuge where he and his basket might be safe.
Many years later that one basket has turned into a whole herd and Cheveyo finds himself the leader of the Little Meadow herd, benevolent and kindly king of a small alpine valley and its mostly small occupants. Cheveyo is open for any sort of encounter, from fellow herd leaders to Usdia or full sized Soquili looking for a home...he might also like a lady friend to help him share the responsibilities of running the Little Meadow Herd.
The Knights Son
Zhevra lives in his fathers shadow and while he wants to - someday - live up to his fathers legacy he also wants to make a name for himself and perhaps live a little bit of a life before he devotes himself to his fathers code. Zhevra is young and a little bit lost, he's at a point in his life where he can either take a path to something great or take the path to something terrible before he comes to his senses and turns into the Knight his father hopes he will become.
Zhevra is open for all sorts of RP, he's young and brash and somewhat impulsive so he's likely a good choice if you want a hero that might fail or a partner in crime for some troublesome scheme. He won't go along with anything evil mind you..but he's not nearly as jaded and suspicious as his father and so could be led into doing something bad without knowing it.
The Neutral
The Hired Hoof
Achilles is a mercenary who has made a deal with the Queen of the Amazons. He sires her children and in return he is exempt from the typical rules her herd has for males...meaning he can come and go as his jobs demand. Achilles works for fame and fortune and although he is willing to take on a job if the pay off is worth while (Information, rare items etc) he is equally willing to do something for next to nothing if it provides him with a Challenge.
Although he is not a 'hero' persay, Achilles does operate on a set of morals..he doesn't kill the innocent, he has no interest in avenging your petty love issues or taking out your illegitimate foals and he expects you to hold up your side of the bargain unless you want to be his next target. He has an honor among thieves sort of mindset and really..he just wants to be famous and admired. He's vain and confident and not afraid to tell you exactly what he thinks..but he gets the job done. Achilles is a good choice if you need someone beaten up, 'killed' (aka left for dead but somehow survives..since most don't actually want a death..though if you DO, Achilles is up for that too!) , hunted down or threatened.
The Shy Rose
Rosales has recently been captured by the Flock..but he's not all that beaten up about it, in fact he's kind of glad. Rosales has been lost and alone and frankly kind of scared since a flash flood took his two guiding lights away from him. Having been raised with his mother and sister calling all the shots this stallion fits in perfectly with Flock life.
Rosales likes to make those around him happy... and is a hopeless romantic at heart. He'll do almost anything to make the ladies around him smile and enjoys doing so almost as much as he enjoys cultivating the local wildflowers..including of course, roses. Rosales is open for any Flock interactions, including flings of course.
The Master Thief
Atlantis Is a thief and a con artist, she'll play any part, tell any story and put on any mask in order to get whatever treasure she's set her eyes on. Atlantis is competitive and cunning, she's neither good nor evil but is willing to be either in order to get what she wants. Atlantis is a good choice if you want something stolen..or attempted to be stolen. Or if your Soquili is on a quest to find some item well..Atlantis could have . She has lots of stuff...thieving from a thief might be fun!
Since Atlantis is pretty much out to get whatever she can for herself she's also available for hire - provided you can offer her some sort of pretty jewel or object as payment. She can play a part to get information, case a herd for something or someone or otherwise fill in the roles that con-artists or thieves might play.

Pirata is evil and she is building an evil army to take over the world!..or at least her little corner of it. She has a thing about mutants and wants to make more mutants..thus the only stallions she is interested in is other mutants. Yeah she's an elitist jerk like that.
The stallion need not be evil himself however, Pirata is more then willing to play the part of nice to get what she wants, he just has to look odd or unique in some fashion. Those seeking lifemates need not apply. Pirata has no use for 'love'

Syphax is her mother's daughter, she will do anything her mother wants her to do in order to safeguard her position as 'heir to the throne'. This includes begetting more mutant children with whomever her mother finds worthy...which means yes..you'll need Pirata's approval before getting anywhere with Syphax. Of course this approval could be as simple as Syphax pointing said stallion out to her...after all, personality is hardly important to these two.
Of course there could also be arranged breedings between suitable fellow evil families..for a good enough alliance Pirata might even be willing to forego her whole mutant obsession. Like her mother is highly highly unlikely that Syphax will lifemate...unless there is a really good plot. I'm willing to entertain Ideas and offers.

Cheveyo is a little stallion with a heart of gold, he's kind and gentle and has gained a great deal of wisdom in his years as adventurer followed by leader, he's the leader of the Little Meadow Herd and while he has a rather large family surrounding him and is content in his life as herd leader..well it would be nice for him to find a special someone to help him run the herd.
RP is required for Cheveyo and I'd really love a lifemate for him - someone who will stick around through thick and thin.
