Rangers Apprentice Series

Out of all ten books i'm not really sure i can pick what one was the best. i mean you have:
Book 1: The Ruins of Gorlan
Book 2: The Burning Bridge
Book 3: The Icebound Land
Book 4: The Battle For Skandia
Book 5: The Sorcerer of The North
Book 6: The Siege of Macindaw
Book 7: Erak's Ransom
Book 8: The Kings of Clonmel
Book 9: Halt's Peril
Book 10: The Emperor of Nihon-ja.
Even after those ten you have a whole new book that shows you nearly the same adventure from another character's view. I found this series to be exciting and thrilling. Who else has read these books even just one and what did you think?

The author is John Flanacan. A breaf description: Will a ward of Castle Redmont is chosen to be an apprentice to Halt one of the fifty rangers of the kingdom of Arluan (not sure I spelt it right). In the first book you learn a lot about the ranger corps and Will. You also meed his ward year mates And some other charitors that will play a roll in the rest of the series. Its a great series that will break your heart at times but will always pull you right back in. I HIGHLY recomend this series.

I think I read the first book in the series. It was okay but not enough to pursue the rest of the series.
