((This lioness has a name))
Pell nodded to the female as they continued moving, wanting to help them. Following the female, she kept her eyes and ears out for anything worth looking into, though she was still slightly limping.
((LOL, i've been shortened in meh posts))

Nisha nodded and determinedly whispered, "I'll find it," before turning and padding away. She was reluctant to admit it, even to herself, but she was a little glum about continuing on without Kifu. She had become rather accustomed to his company. Though she was sure that the green lioness next to her would prove to be just as friendly.
But, there was a lost baby to find, and she needed to head out before the trail was muddled by the storm.

Following behind the girl, she wanted to help her find the last child through this storm so that they can be a happy family again.

Nisha pushed on through the storm, ears flattened miserably against her skull. Her pelt was slicked against her skin and, even though the air was warm, she was starting to shiver. She had no idea whether it was from being soaked, or being exhausted.
Either way, she had to keep going, had to keep forcing one foot in front of the other, had to keep trying to find a scent.

Kifu sniffed the air, trying to track where Nisha went after depositing the mother and her baby back in her make-shift den. There was till one little one out there, and the wild dog hated the idea of Nisha having to search for it on her own.

((One player left and one baby left... it's a done deal!))From nearly at Nisha's feet came a pitiful mew. Blending in with the mud and earth, the last baby was hiding in plain sight, eyes squeezed shut and body shivering. Cold and afraid, he was completely unaware of the leopardess, or that all his siblings were safe with their mother. All he knew was that he was wet, cold, and so very alone! It was scary out here!

Please note that all have pre-assigned genders. Names should be sent to Annchen for her to post them for certing! We'd love to see the babies stay in the pride, but do understand if this doesn't work out. The mother is not likely to remain in the pride herself. Thanks everyone for playing (and being so patient with the RNG)! Don't forget to enter the rp contest if you are eligible! Also, the raffle for the cheetah will be open to EVERYONE, even if you won in the Dance or the rp contest! There also has been an increase in tickets awarded per OOCarrot cashed in! EDIT: Names have been edited in for those pups we've got info for (if anyone is curious about the sibling names)

[[ Rofl, Thank you so much. RNG apparently hates my face. Just gonna do a wrap-up post.. 'cause leaving it hanging will bother me. ]]
[[ EDIT: For future reference, who's the colorist? ]]
In her exhausted state, Nisha almost didn't stop in time to avoid treading on the baby at her feet, soaked, mud-covered - and earth-colored underneath it all, it seemed.
With a sigh of relief, she turned and shouted over her shoulder at the last few searchers. "I've found him! He's okay!" Forcing her agonized muscles to keep working for just a few more moments, Nisha bent and grasped the genet's scruff gently in her teeth, then turned and padded with a slight limp toward the waiting mother.

Viverri was finally reunited with her babies. She wasn't entirely happy about this ground-nest the large lioness had made for them, but it was dry. A tree would have felt safer for her, but the last one she'd been in had exploded so perhaps staying on the ground was a good plan. Viverri had always liked trees, and it was upsetting to have one behave like that. A roll of thunder could be heard in the distance and she growled at it.
She still made angry clicking noises when the larger predators got too close for her tastes, but it was mostly for show. It might be too much to call it "being thankful", but she could admit that the large animals had been useful in bringing her babies back. Hopefully they weren't just saving them for snacking on later...
((The colorist is Cajanic and I'll post them for certs when I've got all names))
