There was a ghost standing in front of Tomoko's door. he had been standing there for a solid minute now, debating on sticking to his original reason for stopping over, or changing plans to something that would be more fun. He knew that he needed more battles under his belt, he knew that because Junko had told him so when they'd run into each other the other day. He also knew that Tomoko needed more battles in order to graduate. There was a very logical solution here, but the idea of raising a hand against the smaller ghoul, even in a spar, bothered him.
He didn't want to hit her, he wanted to protect her. It made him conflicted. It would probably make him hesitate.
But this really was a good solution to a mutual problem, and it would let them spend more time together, which they had both expressed a desire in doing the last few times they'd talked. So, sighing heavily, shoulders rounding, he lifted a hand and knocked on her door.

She'd tried a handful of times to cover up the crack across her face. It was just an empty space, just like every other empty space she'd ever put something non existent into, yet every time the illusion would splinter all over again and she'd be left looking the way she had before.
Broken.
The idea of graduating soon so she could get this taken care of on her own time was getting more and more appealing to Tomoko, but she...had a long way to go as of yet.
She'd been frowning at yet another failed attempt to patch her face, broken like a doll now, when a knock at her door made her sit up much straighter, looking at it with surprise. She hadn't made any plans with anybody had she? Shoot. If she had she'd owe some apologies for not remembering what she'd planned on doing.
Never the less, pleasant surprises were in store when she answered the door and saw who it was, turning into a bright ray of sunshine (oh wait, that was a default setting for her). "Seiji-kun!" she beamed, "Hi!"

When the door opened the boil had still been frowning, but her brightness radiated off her in waves as she greeted him and it was impossible not to smile back. "Momo-chan, Hi." He gave her a little tap on the bottom of her chin with the curve of a knuckle, grinning down at her. "How you doin, screechheart?"
It was still a bit of a shock seeing that crack running along the length of her face. It made the boil uncomfortable. Not that it was unsightly, but that something had happened to hurt the kitsune ghoul and he hadn't been there to try to stop it. Honestly, he wasn't even sure there would have been anything he could have done, but he still felt responsible for the ghoul, and he didn't like the idea of her getting hurt.
"Are you busy?" Hindsight said he probably should have thought this through a bit better, but here was here now. "If not, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to spar? I know you we need them to graduate, and It'd been nice to spend a little more time together. So two birds, one stone." Ramble much, Seiji?
"And maybe we can go get some eyescream after."
