[Until I get her properly certed.]
Finding another pride, another home. This was something of a dream come true! Her history was beginning to mend itself in her memory and she was dying to be surrounded by her work and peers. Her status here was something different than she was used, her position was that of very minimal power, gratefully, but still one that needed her undivided attention. Twana appreciated this greatly and was striving for a normal sleeping pattern at the same time. Her mind was still set on nights as day and days as night, so she looked extremely drowsy and rather worn.
---
Those thoughts, those memories, and those emotions were how the white/golden wild dogs day began. The sun was rising and she was beginning to rise with it, her body was still adjusting and her eyes showed a very small amount of weariness as she stood and stretched before leaving a the small area she had chosen as home. "What a beautiful morning!" She proclaimed with youthful excitement, her eyes blinked hard at the surrounding light. "Herbs, apprentices..." Her words paused in the imaginary to do list. "Would there be an apprentice?" She had begun to move slowly, life had already done its fast paced thing, she was done with that, with fighting and moving forward.
"Apprentices would be exciting, I will collect extra, just in case." She allowed the soft words to escape in a whisper and she moved from her home and left to explore a little more.

It had been a long time since Koin could travel. It was odd to feel the wind blow gentle against him again, pushing him to new places. It had brought him to the demon pride before, leaving him a slave for a long time. Fortunately, he had a kind master - the wind would never lead him to true danger, he knew. He breathed deeply, the air was fresh and free of blood and decomposition.
That was a scent that was burned into his mind - one that he had gotten used to in the passing years as a slave, but he was free now. He was free, and his master pushed him along. His friend had pushed him along, telling him to free himself.
And free he was. The wind ruffled his thick fur, and he stopped to savor it. He tasted the fresh air on his tongue and it was sweet. He would never be in that place again - never again. He would wander free from his bindings until he died, or so he hoped. Not being able to walk free for so long nearly killed his spirit.
Today, though, was the first day of his new life, and he would not waste it. He would not squander this new chance. He walked on, further up this new mountain and away from slavery.
It was time for life to being again.

"It's weird..." She breathed out slowly relaxing any nerves that crept up as she left the safety of her den she now called home. It had only been a few moons since the incident of the Peke Na and though it had been quite some time it was still fresh in her mind and she felt a deep sadness creep up her throat. The love of her life was still out there, somewhere, but she couldn't be sure. If he was, would he not seek her out? Twana tried desperately to force thoughts of Zube from her mind and reminded herself that she needed to move on and focus on new and positive things. Times would be tough, that was no doubt, but she had so much to do and so much to teach she would have no time to waste on little things like past loves.
Now that she had gotten that out of her system, tears done and mind clear she moved forward both mentally and physically. The den was far behind her now and she had begun looking, sniffing and interacting with the Earth she loved so much. As she began snaking through and grabbing herbs here and there for testing and for use she smelled something. Actually, someone. Soon as the scent hit her nose she trembled, it was not necessary that the smell would mean anything, but still she looked about for the border patrol, but there wasn't a soul in sight. It seemed she would have to act on behalf of them, given her 'head' status.
"Be brave Twana, you've accomplished many things in your life both large and small. A little border patrol will just be another to add to the list." Positive, she had to remain positive. With those words fresh in her mind and paws a little less shaky she moved towards the very faint scent. As soon as she reach a little clearing she realized why she could smell it, the wind was in her favor, she had the advantage of knowing someone was there where the wind would not give her away. This made her feel a little bit at ease.
"Hello?" She called out, her dual-colored eyes gazing for the 'trespasser'.
