Natural Ability: Shapeshifting. At present, Kane can shapeshift into an animal at will, so long as he is wearing the pelt of what he wants to shapeshift into. The skill seems limited to animals with fur, though his current skill level only allows him to shapeshift into the two different types of animals that he's had the most practice with: a wolf and a ferret. Oddly enough, he actually prefers the latter over the former.
Possible Y2 --> Shapeshift into any animal at will as long as he is wearing the pelt of the given animal. Fur limitation still applies.
Personality:
- [+] “I call it ‘paying attention’. You should try it.” -- Attentive
- Kane is always paying attention, even when it seems like he isn’t. He just has a tendency to pick up small, trivial things that most people wouldn’t notice, and he’ll have no problem remembering someone as “that guy with the speck on his face and he didn’t notice so I wanted to punch him” or something to that effect. Of course, this doesn’t really mean he wants, or even means, to notice. He just...does. In fact, the only time he ever really wants to pay attention is if animal pelts are in the picture. If that’s the case, it’s guaranteed his eyes are fully on you.
- [+] “I’m looking at all sides of the story, here.” -- Objective
- Kane is the sort to step back and look at everything from a more unbiased perspective, whether it’s a decision he’s making for himself or if he’s helping someone (which is, he would admit, very, very rare) deal with a situation. It just makes the most sense to him to weigh every side or option that’s on the table before he makes a suggestion or gives an opinion, and so he does. This does, however, mean that he may not simply side with you just because you’re “friends,” which may or may not rub some the wrong way. Not that he really...cares at all.

- Every. Detail. Matters. Especially the finer ones, though Kane is generally pretty fussy about organization and things like that. His room could likely contend for cleanest or most organized, or even most alphabetized. Everything has designated spot, and his days, while not scheduled to the second, are usually well plotted beforehand so he at least has a general idea about what he’ll be spending a lot of time in during any given day. He’s likely borderline neurotic, and he tries to keep as much of his life in relative order as he can manage.

- Kane doesn’t appreciate nosy creeple. He just...doesn’t. End of story. His business is his, and if he wants to share he will, otherwise don’t bother. He doesn’t like being asked overly pushy, over-the-line questions about his past, and he won’t put up with it if he’s ever faced with such a situation. Not that he’d lash out, but it’s likely that he’ll just go out of his way to avoid whoever’s offended him. He’s the sort that also dishes that same respect for privacy with regard to others’ business, and so isn’t likely to ask any of those kinds of questions.

- If you don’t want an honest answer, best not ask Kane for his opinion. He’ll give it without a second thought, pretty or not. Perhaps too often not, but the way he figures it at least he’s being honest. He doesn’t particularly care if he’s hurting someone’s feelings, and won’t bother filtering his thoughts if he’s in a talking mood (which isn’t all that often, really). Of course, if he’s told that he might have gone a bit too far he might consider apologizing, but he tends to just shrug off whatever guilt he’s meant to feel and move along.

- Uncaring and indifferent are two words he’s come to associate himself with, and he believes others also see him as such. He’s found that such an attitude works as a sort of shield that he can throw up at his convenience, and it helps keeps the “feels” at bay, so he keeps a safe, likely none-too-healthy, distance from everyone around him. He also a sort of touch aversion and has a 2-foot radius “bubble” that he likes to maintain. He gets shifty and tense whenever anyone pops this bubble, never mind when they actually touch him.

- In his dorm it’s probably just better if one kept their hands to themselves. He gets absolutely finicky when people so much as look at his things with any kind of curiosity. He also has a bad habit of breathing down their neck should he let them actually touch the stuff. Kane’s very, very possessive, most especially with things he’s been gifted with, and doesn’t exactly like the idea of having to share anything, friends included. He might lash out at anyone trying to get close to someone he considers a friend, even more so if he considers them family.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? His adoptive parents realized that they couldn’t keep him sheltered forever, and that, despite their good intentions in keeping him at home where he feels safest, he needed a proper education. They decided that it would also be good for him to go out and actually socialize with others, maybe find a good friend or two among his peers.
FEAR Ability: His hands and nails become more claw-like, the nails in particular extending to about three times the usual length and becoming just sharp enough to rip rather rough and jaggedly through skin. [ Swift Strikes ]

Skin Colour: Light brown, probably similar to the guy in the above ref (if not just a biiiit darker)
Clothing Style/Colours: Tribal/nomadic theme with a serious Native American flavor, perhaps also with an urban-esque twist? He's got a full-on wolf pelt hanging somewhere on his person, and a smaller ferret's pelt hanging from a belt or something similar on his waist. He'll also carry a darkly colored dream-catcher like object, along with other beaded trinkets and such that reflect a bit more of his family's culture and heritage. No headdresses, please. lol
