Watervoir Hi, welcome to the guild!
Holy cow, are my eyes deceiving me? Is this finally someone I can ramble about biology with? emotion_kirakira
2002. o: Is Gaia even that old? Congratulations to you and your fiance!
Anyway, welcome again to the guild. Hope to see you RPing here soon. :) I'm Watervoir by the way but you can call me Water, and I'm a Crew member of SDRP (I mention this because my FA tag masks the usual 'Crew' label).
Hello, and thank you! And it is a pleasure to meet you! Yes, Gaia is indeed that old. I started roleplaying on here when I was about 12. That makes me pretty old too, I guess! At least I usually feel it a lot. Especially on here, where there are tons of "youngin's" scampering about.
Haha, yes, please! I am always looking for people to nerd out with! You can talk biology with me any time.
Did you go to school for it as well, or is it just a hobby of yours?

Watervoir It's always cool meeting people who've been with Gaia for so many years. emotion_kirakira
Yay hugs! emotion_hug
I definitely recommend applying to the tutoring academy. The more the merrier, and umbraja is very knowledgeable. emotion_yatta Ohh I see about your account. You should be able to ask for it to become unlocked by filing a ticket to Gaia through the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page. It's up to you if you want to do it or not; I just wanted to let you know that the option is there. :D
Human biology. :D I love organs and brains. <3 I'm still studying it actually. They haven't quite gotten rid of me yet. xD
I still have about a month left in this semester, which is a really tough one for me. I'm taking Human Physiology, Marine Biology (which doesn't sound work intensive, but the lab portion of our grade is to write a 20-30 page scientific review paper and do a 30 minute presentation, which is just.. O.o), Invertebrate Zoology and a History course. I'm really starting to feel the pressure these last few weeks. Once I finish these next few weeks, I will have A LOT more time to spend on other things, like the academy and more than one roleplay, haha. I'm taking one class at a time over the summer, which will be 5 days a week, but only from 9:45-11:45, which is much better than the 8-4 that I'm doing now. And my last semester will be slightly easier. We'll see.
But Human Biology is neat! Have you ever been to the Body Worlds exhibit that travels around to museums around the world? It is THE COOLEST thing I have ever seen. I got to walk through it maybe like 5 years ago or something, but I was blown away. If you haven't seen it, I would look up where it's at and try to go to it one day! And I'm in Human Phys right now and my goodness. It's tough! So much to take in. I feel like there needs to be a 2 or 3 part course for this! It's really interesting though! When will you be finished with school?
And yes, I submitted a ticket for it, but I'm worried that it won't get accepted. Like I said, I hadn't even looked at my character in 3 years and they were asking a lot of questions I didn't know the answer to. Like what was in my inventory and what my last trades were. I couldn't tell them if I tried! I haven't thought about it in so long. So, keep your fingers crossed for me! I would probably end up just trading all of my inventory and gold over to this character and working off of here. I do know I had a couple of really unique items, though I don't remember what they were. I'm excited to take a look at all the stuff I had and sort it all out!

Ivaylo_Sai Old farts unite! Woo~ Ahem. . . yeah. Always fun to see adults on Gaia, even if I'm still older. *wins the oldest member award* Getting a Biology degree sounds fun but I completely understand the busy factor. I did music in college and had zero free time between classes, rehearsals, practice, ensembles, and the dreaded marching band (I lost 10 lbs though). I hope you come up with some time this summer. I'm probably gonna be teaching in the Academy again by then so I hope to see you there. I also heard rumor that 19th century x-files-esque RP (mentioned in the gold raffle) is looking more likely to pan out.
Ooo, yay! That will be so interesting.
And yes, it is super interesting, but gosh, so busy! I understand completely. I have no doubt I will have more time over the summer. I can't express how much I am looking forward to it!
I shall most likely see you at the academy! It is so nice to meet you, though!
