Personalities: Mikael is a gentle, relatively shy boy who had some slow social developmental issues growing up and demonstrated a very extensive sense of imagination. He did not do well at school, struggling with a short attention span and predisposition to daydream and left school as soon as he was able, never really engaging with it on an extensive level. Despite his lack of book smarts, Mikael is smart in other ways and always showed a natural inclination towards art and music, learning to play the piano early though somewhat to his mother's concern.

He has a strong sense of right and wrong and will not compromise it easily, often surprising people who think that he is simply an airhead with nothing to contribute. He is afraid of the dark.



Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter?
Because he is young and impetuous and doesn't think things through all the time. Also he has a deep need to prove himself and find out who he really is, only dimly remembering his birth father but aware that some of his problems stem from that direction. Offered the chance of a new life and a new employment he would say yes, especially if it was coupled with the mandatory relocation of his entire family. He would assume it was part of the witness protection plan which he has lived under for some time, he is passive to authority.

Var is a wild creature to the core, born from the innate fear in every human of exposure and wild nature, he is unflinching in the face of destruction and cold instinct. He does not understand human emotions or society and is to the letter a wolf in personality. He is disdainful of any perceived hesitation or frailty in Mik and is intolerant of weakness. In his mind weakness is death, weakness will let the world catch up to you. The only thing he truly fears and resents is captivity and does not enjoy enclosed spaces, contrary to Mikael's enjoyment of creature comforts.

Around 5 foot, he has some growing to do and is of narrow frame with a high metabolism, bright keen eyes and a crackling tensed energy in the way he moves, even if he is not always listening he is enthusiastic about not listening.

Hair Colour/Style: Almost white/very light platinum blonde. Shoulder length.
Skin Colour: Nordic
Clothing Style/Colours: Casual simple t-shirt and jeans or whatever other simple "average" fashions are in style for young men. No major eccentricities.

Welcome to This is Halloween!

Congratulations! Your character has passed the enrollment process and you're cleared to begin playing. Essentially, this means you can get your art certed, make your character's journal, and most importantly start RPing. If you're a little lost then don't worry, this guide is here to point you in the right direction.

- Do you have your character's art? Great! Move onto the next crown.

- If you do NOT yet have your art, you may now contact your artist and let them know that they may now start on creating your character!

- If your character is a STUDENT, you may create a customized student pin for them. This is entirely optional (but fun!) special badge that is unique to your character's design! You can find more information about pins (also known as their emblem) here.

- Hallowen characters (Students & Horsemen) may bet their character certed here!

- Hunters may get their certs here!
