Zascha, for the most part despite events in his life, has a laid back and fairly optimistic personality. He tries his best to find the good in people and situations, which on occasion gets him burned. But he is certainly not the quiet type. Preferring to surround himself with a good group of friends then spend his time alone most days.
Growing up as the eldest brother of five (four little sisters), its given him the quiet calm that comes with dealing with high stress situations. But it also makes him fiercely loyal to those whom he is close to. He would sacrifice himself without hesitation if it meant protecting someone he cared about.
Most of his life has been spent in the wilderness. To say he's a survivalist would be nothing short of the truth. Living off of what he had around him and making do without certain modern conveniences. Zascha feels more at home in the forest then he ever would in a city. Which also leaves him a bit technologically impaired. He could tell you ten ways to cook a rabbit but ask him to send a text on a phone and he'd probably look at you stupid.
Gothsmog is a temperamental type. She can go from zero to sixty in a snap. Very opinionated, she tends to get loud when expressing her displeasure. But she loves fighting, nothing puts her in a better mood than a good fight.
But she is also a very driven weapon as well. Only wanting Zascha to be the best, do the best he can. She can be toxic at times, but Zascha feels in his heart of hearts that there is some positive deep down inside his partner. Hiding somewhere. Even on the days when Gothsmog is particularly negative.
Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter?
Living in the forest, Zascha has always known there was more to it all than just the trees and the animals. There were, unnatural things. Spirits perhaps or something of the like. Many times he would see unexplained things while in the woods around his family's home, shadows moving through the forest. The sound of howls and screams in the night that were of no animal he knew of.
It wasn't until the murder and disappearance of his sisters that he had a sense of something more. Perhaps something that had targeted him. Returning home, he had found a grizzly scene. The three older girls dead and the youngest misssing, but this was no work of bandits or anything of the like. He could feel it in his bones. For months he had spent most of his waking hours trying to find his youngest sister to no avail.
Once he heard of Deus, it got him wondering that perhaps they would have more resources to aid him. And at the same time he'd have some place to be and some purpose again.
