He'd not seen his two constant companions in literally weeks. Vunde had gone flying off to check on something for the god and not returned yet, for a reason he suspected was the vulture being a bit lazy and relaxing somewhere. Yutu had run of saying he needed to do something... And now he rather hoped the hare hadn't been EATEN. He rather liked the constant presence over his lifetimes, really.
He walked along the river, just down on the bottom of the bank. There was no real goal in his travel, although he DID want to follow it and intimidate the crocodiles.. As much as he was sure that made Mlinzi wa Maji. As he rounded the corner... Something fell on him. He stopped as it fell off his back into the dirt and turned around... And his jaw dropped and he gaped.
The cub that blinked up at him had to stare a bit, too. The lion above him had many of the same physical features, with the long ears and mane down his back. But where the older lion was sea-foam with black hair and violet eyes, the cub was black with sea-foam hair that had three dark red streaks and light blue eyes. "M-MOOOOOM!" Datura was, to say the least, surprised by this strange lion and not entirely receptive yet of how SIMILAR they looked, and he scrambled back up the bank and over the edge... And the green lion following right behind him.
"Mom? 'Ho is Mom?" He pulled himself up, quietly cursing his lack of flight. "Wait, come back! Why do you LOOK like me?!"
