Distantly related to the other avian demons, Jubjub birds often live in dark, desolate valleys, the easier to scare off unwanted visitors with their booming voices and sound manipulation magic. They're hardly all bark and no bite, though. When provoked, Jubjub birds have a raptor's strength and show great gusto in kicking, stomping, and clawing their way through their problems. Their natural form shares features with the human world's secretarybird and Haast's eagle, albeit with more colorful plumage.
