Okay so I actually looked over your quest already and then passed it to Maru for some help, because the reason for him becoming a hunter is pretty over the top and most of it isn't allowed for various reasons.

For starters (quoting Maru): "Without a weapon, TiH creatures look like shapeless shadow blobs to humans! That's why scarelings have to go to school and receive scare training~ they need to learn to form/solidify their Fear. Amityville is a high-ranking school in part due to the pins since the pins help students channel their Fear and whatnot."

Meaning he wouldn't see a skeletal figure or anything even resembling a horseman, which is why all new trainees have said that they've seen shadows as a young child. That sets them apart from normal humans, but there's nothing ever more than that, especially in regards to a Horseman just randomly walking through the human world.

In regards to the figure running the Horseman off / the fight (quoting Maru again): "I don't think it's that easy for an NPC to drive off a horseman... horsemen are the strongest of Halloween characters and quite often -mass murder people-"

tl;dr this reason for becoming a hunter should be toned down a lot to fit within normal hunter guidelines, otherwise it's way overpowered.


One other thing - what's the relationship between Zeke and Lagertha? Will they support each other, or will they hinder each other? It's fine to work things out through RP later and develop things more, but the dynamic between the hunter and their weapon is important / crucial, so just something to think about!

Welcome to This is Halloween!

Congratulations! Your character has passed the enrollment process and you're cleared to begin playing. Essentially, this means you can get your art certed, make your character's journal, and most importantly start RPing. If you're a little lost then don't worry, this guide is here to point you in the right direction.

gaia_crown [ Art Check! ]:

- Do you have your character's art? Great! Move onto the next crown.

- If you do NOT yet have your art, you may now contact your artist and let them know that they may now start on creating your character!

gaia_crown [ Certs & Emblems ]:

- If your character is a STUDENT, you may create a customized student pin for them. This is entirely optional (but fun!) special badge that is unique to your character's design! You can find more information about pins (also known as their emblem) here.

- Hallowen characters (Students & Horsemen) may bet their character certed here!

- Hunters may get their certs here!

gaia_crown [ Creating a Journal ]:

- A journal is a thread where you can keep track of your character's accomplishments, RPs, progress, relationships, etc!

- All HALLOWEEN characters (Students & Horsemen) may create one here!
