[Duel] Match Up (Iroh x Jamadagni)

Jamadagni crossed into the pride's lands yet again. The last duel had been a tie, and while that was all good and fine, Jama knew he needed to duel again, if not for the pride's acceptance, than for his own training. At this point the winning didn't even matter, but the action did. Action and training. There hadn't been a moment were Jama didn't have some kind of action to do.

And if there was such an actionless moment, Jama knew he got into more dangerous situation then and there.

Even while he had been escorting the mother of future cubs across the rogue lands to her new pride where she and his babes would live there had been action. Maybe not fighting, but the hunting and the - how cubs are created - was more than enough to keep Jama happy.

Now was the time for more action and Jamadagni knew he could find it here with the pride he hoped to call home and family.

He looked around, looking for someone that would be willing to duel with him and spotted a white lion some distance off. Jama started toward the lion and shouted out a greeting. "Hello there, friend!" As he got closer, being sure to observe a polite distance from the other lion, but close enough not to have to shout at each other. "Would you be willing to have a duel with me, sir? My name is Jamadagni."

The large, white lion enjoyed his patrols across the borders. For him, life continued on as it normally would, and he stuck to his duties to the best of his abilities, as he always tried to do. He took a very simple pleasure in the order of his day, and though he could go some time without seeing a new duel, others getting their first or he was simply in the wrong area for it, he still returned to his duty each day.

He looked up when he heard someone calling to him, smiling warmly and nodding his big head in slow greeting. The thick fur around his head and down his chest rustled with the measured movement, and for it moment it seemed as if he were not really capable of fighting any more. But that was not the case, he simply held himself in a leisurely and welcoming way, seemingly not always on his guard. He was, in fact, always watching and listening, and always ready for a sudden shift in the air. Sometimes, aggression from others came out of no where.

"Hello there, Jamadagni. You're looking to join our pride, are you? That's good to hear! I would be honored to duel you, then, if you are ready for it. My name is Iroh. It is a pleasure to meet you. Now, by all means, take the first attack when you are ready."

He smiled and nodded is head once to indicate that all was well, and he was planning no tricks.

Jama smiled, big and open, and bowed his head to his opponent. "Thank you, Iroh."

Shaking his body just a bit, as if shrugging off the slow energy around them, Jama started to circle Iroh, measuring the white lion and his steps, looking for an opening. The lion before him was obviously well skilled, trained by experience and these duels. Jama supressed an smile at the fun he was having, fighitng his opponent. This match was going to be hard, but so much fun.

Suddenly, deciding to surprise Iroh, Jama lounged, swinging his paws. He hit Iroh.
