♏ Charms OWL - E
- Jacob studied hard, and worked on his charms work for this NEWT. Even if he wasn't able to get everything correct, he managed to do well enough. Thus, he got an Exceeds Expectations.
♏ Defence Against the Dark Arts OWL - O
- This was by far Jacob's best class. He mamaged to keep on top of everything in the classes, and did well when asked to perform. This granted him an Outstanding in this NEWT.
♏ Herbology OWL - E
- Jacob had managed to do well in Herbology the first time around, and he worked hard to keep that up. While he wasn't exactly a natural in the course, he wasn't bad either. He managed to get an Exceeds Expectations in his test.
♏ Potions OWL - O
- Jacob was pretty decent with potions before, however his brother made sure to make him study for this test extensively. It led to many sleepless nights cooped up in Rick's Potions lab, but it paid off when Exam time came. He managed an Outstanding in this NEWT as a result.
♏ Transfiguration OWL - E
- Jacob really had troubles with this course in school. Especially at the beginning. However, his brother was a natural at Transfiguration and managed to help Jacob study enough that he was not endangering himself or anyone else with his skills. Thus, he got an Exceeds Expectations.
Elective Classes:
♏ Cursebreaking OWL - A
- Jacob was not the best in this class when he first took it, and he still wasn't the second time around. However, he did study hard, and managed to scrape an Acceptable for the NEWT.
♏ Wandless Magic Practice Class OWL - P
- Jacob sucked at wandless magic. He knew it, and tried to make sure he could at least pass the exam. However, for all of his attempts, he couldn't manage more than a Poor.
♏ Wizard Law OWL - A
- With all of the studying he was doing for his other classes, it was no surprise that he had to let a few things slide. Noticeably, he had to devote less time to this course than he could otherwise. While he was sure he disappointed his brother's uncle doing it, he managed an Acceptable anyways.
♏ World Studies OWL - D
- Jacob unfortunately had to let a few things slack. In between his Head Boy duties, quidditch, and studying for other NEWTs, he felt that his other classes were more important. Thus, he failed with a Dreadful.
