I have an existing character I'd like to enroll!
Name of SoA: Kahkushan (galaxy) / Suyin (simple sounding)
Species: Lioness
Gender: Female
Background/history: Kahkushan was one of three daughters in her parents only litter. Her parents had been trying for cubs for years. When the litter was born, her mother thought they were miracles, a gifts from the gods. Her father on the other hand didn't. He wanted at least one son. The fact that he was given three daughters instead made him upset. He kept his distance from the girls as they grew up. Kahkushan was determined to get her father's approval though. She worked hard at training so she could be a soldier for her pride and show how strong she was. Eventually when she became an adult she managed to get the rank through determination and hard work. Despite this, her father still was not impressed with her. After some alone time, she discovered that it didn't matter what he thought and that she enjoyed her duty.
Later down the road she was sent on an escort mission and was separated from her group. She spent her time searching for anyone from the group, helping rogues along her way. Since she hasn't seen a trace of them, she has decided that she needs to move on with her life and find a new pride to settle down.
Personality: Kahkushan is a hero. She'll defend the weak and stand up for what is right. She is a workaholic, and tends to leave little time for herself. She does everything she can to be helpful and doesn't mind setting aside time to help train or spar with others.

Name of SoA: Arjana (Paradise) / Nianzu (thinking of ancestors)
Species: Lion
Gender: Male
Background/history: Nianzu was born in the north house. His parents pushed him toward becoming a soldier and so he did everything in his power to do so. While out on patrol, he met a rogue near the border. The two became friends which soon blossomed into romance. When he brought her to his parents to meet, they were upset that he was interested in an outsider who didn't fit their expectations. They told him to take her back to the border and never to speak with her again. He did as he was told. The rogue lioness tried convincing him to leave the pride and be with her, but he told her that his duty was with his pride and family. She left and he never saw her again.
Personality: Nianzu is quiet and respectful. He takes his duty very seriously. He is good at listening to other character's problems, but has a hard time talking about his own problems.

Background/history: Born in the Mzawa'kondo. Wandered with his father (Tamaa'kaa-juu), brother, and remaining sister after the pride dispersed and his mother and other sister disappeared. Follows them wherever they go.
Personality: A big honorable fluff. Nowhere near as srsbidness as his father can be.
Rank: Scout (He's got the combat training, but he isn't near as battle-ready as his father.)

Name of SoA: Jegara - Kèfú
Species: Lion
Gender: Male
Background/history:
Je was born to a family of big game hunters, and as such grew up learning to take down larger foes. It was exciting, a challenge, and he grew up loving the life. However one day he got cocky and attempted to take down a rhino on his own, and things went sour fast. Jegara was quickly overwhelmed, and nearly killed at his mother not shown up in time. She fought tooth and claw to keep the rhino's attention and ??, injured and scared, could do nothing but watch as she fought a losing battle.

At the end of it the rhino had won, and though bloodied it left. Jegara's mother had fallen protecting him, and after that his father and siblings never quite looked at him the same. Shamed and guilt-ridden he left, feeling it the kindest solution for them all. After much wandering and beating himself up he has come to find the Tianxia. Hunting, being the only thing he truly knows what to do, is naturally what he gravitates to, though he'll be hesitant at first to go after anythign too big.
Personality:
At first he'll be a pretty closed off character, not only because he still feels guilty for his mothers death, but also because he's in a new place, one so different from how he grew up. A good rivalry is all he needs though. At his core Je is a cocky and competitive character, always striving to be better than he is, and better than others. Mostly though his competitive streak is a friendly one, though many may not see it as such. He can come off as abrasive to many, but it's something you either come to accept about him, or hate him for.

Name of SoA: Zhongshí de chengyuan / Berani
Species: lion
Gender: male
Background/history: He was born and raised in North House. His father was a soldier, and his father's father. He fell in love with a messenger from another house, wooing her to become a messenger for North House so they could be together. As a younger lion he was quite a dashing figure, and it was wondered if he would seek a higher position. However, Zhongshi was quite content as a soldier. He found the work rewarding and not so demanding as to keep him from his mate and his growing family. He couldn't have been prouder when their litter was born... three sons! He has attempted to raise them to be as devoted to their pride and house as he is.
Personality: Zhongshi is of basic soldier stock. He is intensely devoted to his pride and his house, and is highly suspicious of anyone from outside the pride. He is not overtly aggressive by any means, but has the ability to do his job very well. He tends to be a lion of few words, keeping it succinct and pithy. He isn't into anything touchy-feely, being more likely to give his boys a gentle clout over the head in affection rather than a nuzzle. Talk about his feelings? Ha! Perhaps to his mate, but to none else. He tends to be rather unimaginative, but is an excellent follower, being willing to execute his orders to a tee.

Description: Based on foliage of a magnolia tree.
Deeeep green body, bright white mane. CC color for his face. Possibly some sort of soft, leafy-ish patterning or markings, but something undersrated. Maybe a marking on his face, depending on the color it ended up being. (If dark green, then a white magnolia flower.) Everything else would be CC.

Name of SoA: Songli / Cinar
Species: lion
Gender: male
Background/history: He was born into North House. He still feels like he's growing up, and hasn't taken the time to consider a mate. He attempted to become a messenger like his mother, but his habits quickly disqualified him from taking such a position.
Personality: Songli is a jovial sort that gets along well with pretty much everyone. He also is a giver, stopping to lend a paw whenever it seems to be needed. His father despairs of him ever becoming anything beyond a hunter, due to his penchant for getting distracted by the needs and wants of others. Songli, however, feels no pressing need to make 'more' of himself, unless it would mean he had more of himself to use to help others. He is content merely to be a hunter, as it allows him to dictate his own schedule for the most part. He is very close with his family, putting them first.

Description: Based on a sycamore tree.
Trunk of his body should be like the bark in the first ref image, as if the 'tree trunk' were horizontal to the ground. His legs should resemble the limbs of the tree in the first ref as well, with a similar transition between the rough and smooth parts as in the ref. His mane should be the colors of the leaves as seen in both ref images in whatever style you feel is best. How to handle the face is CC. All other aspects are CC as well!

Name of SoA: Fēngshù (Maple) // Qiūtiān (Autumn/fall)
Species: Lion
Gender: Male
Background/history: He was born and raised in the North house, is a son to Tal's Zhongshi de chengyuan and brother to both Songli and Shù gē. He decided to become a scout as the career appealed to his more quiet and reserved nature, although his flaw of not really knowing when to say "no" to new jobs has made him considerably more social.
Personality: A sort of do-it-all type of guy he accepts more responsibility then he can sometimes handle. He is often stressed with the work he allows himself to be piled with and can be considered more social as he deals with the jobs he has. Given the choice he would rather remain quiet but talking is necessary to get his work done.

Description: He himself is based on a maple tree, with his mane being based on maple leaves in the fall (see refs). This (lengthwise, not up and down) is for his body, with a small hint of green on his face and paws. He is to look as tree like as possible as his family are all based off of them.

Name of SoA: Zhou / Pau Li
Species: Lion
Gender: Male
Background/history: Pau Li came originally from the east house having joined the North House to prove to his criticizing sister that he wasn't all just "fat blobs with no skill." His true motives for joining was only to get more meals out of it. As a guard he was quick to notice that eating all day was NOT the way to succeed and that he wouldn't last long until he cleaned up his act. It was at this time that Pau began to pour himself into his work, and take his job seriously. Now, although he is a little on the bigger side still; Pau can stand his ground in a fight and is a warrior far more reliable than the lion he used to be.
Personality: Pau was, and is, a quiet lion. He does not speak unless spoken to first; but if you do begin talking with him be warned, Pau is by no means the silent type. He will gladly chat away his afternoon in between sparring, or, eating. Despite all his faults and flaws Pau is a loyal comrade and would put his life on the line for a fellow solider when given the choice.

Name of SoA: Huàmù (birch)/Shù gē (tree brother)
Species: lion
Gender: male
Background/history: Born and raised in North House, son to Tal's Zhongshi de chengyuan and brother to Songli. He decided to pursue a career as a hunter because it would give him an excuse for not being talkative, but to have companionship if he wants it.
Personality: He one of those people who gives the impression of being strong and silent, maybe even a deep thinker, because he doesn't talk much, but in fact he just doesn't talk much and is perfectly content allowing people to come up with reasons for that. Not as serious as he seems, but not easily approached, either. He's close to his family and interacts most easily with them. He's not hugely ambitious, but he's good at what he does.
