[PRP] Water Contradictions? [Wailele/Ekundayo]

Ekundayo was excited. Very excited. He had a lovely lady friend that he was pretty sure he had more than a small crush on and nothing could go wrong. He'd met a couple other gods, Hakuna, a fairly new goddess, apparently, and Primitius, her mate. It had led to some interesting conversation between him and his lady friend, but from that conversation he was sure she was attracted to him, too. Now came the part they just needed to get to know each other better.

Ekundayo stretched himself out as he settled upon a big rock by a river, licking his wings clean. He'd taken a little dip, gotten them damp and was now grooming them to get the whites... well, white again. Before this his feathers were heavy with dust, a lack of personal grooming on his part because he had better things to do, but it started getting in his way of flying. So, the green maned lion was going to do that today before finding his friend again and going to see what they were doing today. Nevermind he actually stayed in the area just to bump into her again.

Eku's head popped up in surprise to another voice greeting him. It wasn't until he heard water moving that he actually looked that way and spotted someone there. With his head canting to the side, Ekundayo's golden eyes squinted at the female in the water before nodding.

"I guess it would be a good day to swim," he answered after a moment of thinking. He settled himself down from grooming and just leaned forward a bit more. "I mean, it's hot enough...?" He coughed and cleared his throat a bit before introducing himself. "I'm Ekundayo, and you are... swimming as though you were part fish. ...Are you part fish?" That wasn't a stupid question to ask was it?
