Helmut stared at Xavier, having forgotten for the moment that he never really had a Giftmas growing up. She stared, and stared, and then a plan formed, which drew a wide grin onto her thin lips. The tree was set up, it was just a matter of decorating, right?
"Okay first!" She leaned into the box again, fishing around for some things, and ended up pulling out a large, glittering sphere ornament. "Hold this!" She instructed, before leaning back in and grabbing a second one, offering it to his other hand. "And this one!"

"There are lots, see?" Helmut kept on pulling ornaments out for him to hold, and when his arms were full she started hooking them on his person, like in his pockets, off of his lapel, and a couple in the trim on his sleeves or bottom hem.
Then, now empty of ornaments, the small wendigo leaned in and pulled out a long string of silver garland. She looped it, and threw it up so it would land around his shoulders, and quietly started to walk it around him.

"Giftmas Raum!" She cackled out again in response, before grinning too wide to show too many teeth. "See! You're all festive!" She had hopped closer, if only to show him the picture of himself as a very distressed giftmas tree. It was a photo she was going to keep forever - which brought a thought to mind, a terrible, horrible thought. So much so that she stopped chittering immediately and stared at him, her pupils dilating to nearly obliterate the deep blues of her irises.
Then she took off like a shot, running into her bedroom to hide the camera before he had the chance to find and delete the picture from her.
She returned when the camera was well hidden (under her pillow, with an ugly plushie to stand guard), and set to taking the garland off of her poor, uncomfortable friend as if nothing had ever happened, ever.
"Lights should go first but I don't have any SOOOoooo tinsel first, then ornaments!"
