Making her way through the training grounds, Sindri saw a familiar weave and began very obviously looking past them. Then to the side. Then behind. The slight crafter was soon trotting around the area, looking for someone who was not Lala.

She went unnoticed at first, Lala deeply engaged in moving through the ritualized set of forms that indicated the beginning of her training session--her experience in the Hunter's compound with Oliatos and Nergui reminding her just how out of practice she truly was--and scarcely ready to take heed of a nosy jewelsmith.

By the third pass, though, her attention was undeniably drifting, and by the fourth she wheeled to snap: "There are better places," she said, "to run laps, if that is--"

--and then she stopped, and a flicker of familiar disgust gave way to a half an instant of anguish, and then the impassive, unreadable mask was replaced.
