[PRP] A Little Family Reunion (Enzi x Rior)

Life was... okay.

Honestly, Enzi was bored. For some reason he seemed to be occupying the area of the rogue lands that no one else did. Which was safe, sure. But not exactly the most exciting. He was a lion that craved interaction with others. Anyone he came across could tell that by the excited twinkle in his eyes when he met someone new. There was something to be cherished in the simple joy of conversing with someone, sharing with someone his thoughts. It sounded silly, he knew, but being so lonely was... strange. Having all kinds of thoughts and feelings and not having anyone to talk to them about. That was why he was now determined to find a pride to thrust himself into. Not the type to get along with the typical "band of rogues," that was the best solution, he thought.

The sun was high in the sky now and the heat was bearing down on Enzi's dark coat with a strength he really wasn't a fan of. Meandering over to a nearby pond that he'd recently been sticking close to, he sat on the edge, just underneath a broad tree, and lapped up a bit of water. It was then he became lost in his daydreams of the pride he would soon be apart of, no longer paying attention to all that went on around him.

Rior had been travelling on his own for a few days now. He had left his old friends Yuuki and Penwakani in their new pride; pleased to see that the loving couple had finally settled down. Their cubs were all adults now, they had their first grandchild, and it was kinda sweet to see them taking time for themselves. It was weird though. Rior had been around their cubs as they grew, training them and keeping them safe, and now one of the youngest had an adolescent daughter. Where had the time gone?

He sighed to himself. He had become more muscled throughout his adulthood, training vigorously even during his travels.

He spotted the water in the distance and was grateful. He could use a drink before he continued on. It wasn't as if he had a plan in mind, or needed to go anyway, but he couldn't stand going slowly.

It was only when he was a few meters away that he spotted the figure sitting underneath the tree, and he did a double take. No way! he thought to himself.

"Enzi!" he roared in delight, trotting over to where his brother was, his eyes dancing in joy. "Brother, it has been forever!"
