Anyone in this cold dark place could tell that Khepri didn't belong here. She wasn't what you'd call strong, nor was she a fighter. She did, however, do exactly what she was told and to the best of her ability. She could easily be killed, and she was thankful that she wasn't. Life wasn't what it use to be, she had to admit, but least she still had it. She had grown sort of attached to the male who had kidnapped her and taken her to this place. He wasn't nice in any way, but there was something about him that drew her to him.

She was confused, lost and didn't know what else to do anymore. She shouldn't like him, but he showed her mercy and let her live with him. Of course, she had to do all the things that he asked. It wasn't a good life. What was she thinking? If only things had been different.

She sighed. She spoke no words of her thoughts, as she wasn't going to risk her safety more than it already was. This place was still foreign to her, she'd never understand them. Yet there was something oddly interesting about them, she had to admit. She liked to watch and learn more about these savage lions.

Cthaat had wondered off from his play group again. He was a trouble maker in every sense, and perhaps not the most sane cub there was. Loyal to the end, sure, but sane... He felt he was super in tuned with the gods that watched over them. He loved to hear the stories that the adults would tell them. He found himself wondering about today, of course it was completely his idea. He had planned to sneak away from his siblings and play mates.

How else would he become a great warrior? Soon after wondering about he found the lioness that was something of a sunset to him. Curiosity caused him to go and investigate. She wasn't the normal looking Stormborn, and it interested him. He didn't fully understand what a Thrall was yet, but he was quite young. "You're not a warrior." He said bluntly to her.

Khepri had been startled out of her thoughts, almost thinking she might have slipped and spoken out loud. Luckily it didn't seem she did. Her eyes fell to the a rusty red male cub. She wasn't shocked to here his words, she had been told them once before. No, she wasn't anything special.

In fact, she wasn't sure if she should speak to this child, but she couldn't help it. She was great with cubs, perhaps lions that weren't of this pride. She noticed that she wasn't as great with these cubs as she was with those before she was kidnapped. "No, that I am not" She said with a smile.

She wasn't about to claim to be something she clearly wasn't. If a cub could tell she didn't belong here, then it was more than obvious that she didn't. She wasn't sure what to actually tell the young cub, other then she belonged to Saeran. She'd never thought she'd belong to anyone in the sense of property. This land was strange. "Are you lost?"

Cthaat shook his head. He knew where he was exactly. He had paid attention to every fine detail about the place he lived. Who wouldn't, after all? He was curious about her, though quickly losing interest. "I know where I am" He said with a shrug. He looked around to make sure that he did, anyways. He could still see his siblings in the distance. There were many watching, so he knew he couldn't completely sneak away.

They didn't seem too worried he was over here. He flicked his tail. "Why aren't you a warrior. Don't you want to be?" He did, though he wasn't sure he'd ever be a reaver. Her just wanted to play fight. Then again the stories he was told about plunder and looting was amazing. He wanted to try it at least once. Who knows what was going to happen when he grew up.

"You should go along back" She said with a smile. "Before you get in trouble." She felt she was giving good advice to the cub. He didn't seem old enough yet to be on his own. Even if he really wasn't. There was plenty of lions about. The place was full of them. There may even be just as many captives as there was savage lions. She wasn't sure though. It was a strange world, this land.

“You’ll worry your mother sick.” She said with a nod. Of course she knew that wasn’t true. She was probably closely watching over the cub even if he thought he got away from her. That was something she did enjoy, the fact that it was pretty safe once you were part of this world. Out there, no one but them were safe, here their protection kept you safe. At least there was an upside to that.

Cthaat wasn’t exactly ready to go back, but he suppose he was caught by this non-warrior. He frowned and looked up at the lioness before him. He still couldn’t help but to think she looked like the evening sunset. “I suppose.” He spoke, though his attention was fading from the words of the lioness and he was soon finding that he wanted to wonder off in another direction. She didn’t know who his parents were, so she really couldn’t say that he wasn’t going in the right direction.

A grin crossed his face. He would trick her just like he tricked his playmates and siblings. Yes, he was going to be a master at that. Of course, he needed some partners in crime. He knew exactly the two that would work for such a thing. However, it was too late now to go back and convince them that they should totally follow his lead. He would suggest it to them later. Once he was done exploring, of course. Yes, he was sly. Or at least, that was what he thought. “Yes, I suppose I should get back” He said with a grin.

Before she could say anything more, he turned and started to wonder in a different direction that her. Though it wasn’t the direction back to where his siblings were. Oh, he was good. Yes. Though he knew it wouldn’t take long before his mother found him. But that was something he’d think about when it did happen. After all, what good would it do him to worry about that while he was free and wondering?
