Stars illuminated the night as Matsusa made his way to his hero's den. A den Matsusa had had the honor of sharing until he was old enough for his own place. A den he felt weird standing outside of. Susa, in his heart of hearts, felt that this den was home and not returning to it daily was just odd. Maybe the feeling would change and maybe it wouldn't. But tonight's visit had a purpose.
Susa needed something to do because he was getting as bored as his brother. But rather than wallow in that boredom, Susa had come up with a scheme and he wanted Lord Majanga's opinion as well as approval to actually do the scheme. Anupama was already out in the rogue lands, spying and gathering information on the lions, leopards, cheetahs and other residents that passed through the area Matsusa planned to start the grand scheme from. Of course, the jackal had no idea what he gathering that information for and Susa had no plans to tell him. Not only did Susa have the power in their relationship as the experimenter and now mission giver, but he also didn't want to hear any of Anu's negative feedback. It was too fragile a plan without Majanga's seal of approval.
Once at the den's entrance, Matsusa stopped and cleared his throat to catch the attention of anyone inside. He had no desire to enter his childhood home without permission. That would be disrespectful towards Lord Majanga - a male worthy of all of Matsusa's respect. "My Lord? Are you home? It's Matsusa." Susa called out into the darkness of the den and waited for a response. If he wasn't home, Matsusa would try to find him in the morning, but he didn't want to be a nuance during official pride and sith business. Maybe around lunch would be a good backup time to seek Lord Majanga out.

‘Interesting,’ Majanga thought as he watched Matsusa. The lion was still very young, especially in Majanga’s eyes. Traveling alone in the rogue lands would typically be dangerous for any unexperienced lion. However, he knew that Matsusa was stronger than most lions his age. He was proud of him and his siblings, much more than most of his other pupils.
“Has my pride bored you already?” Majanga asked with a half-smile. He knew that it wasn’t uncommon for his sith to leave the pride and so exploratory mission, though usually he was the one to request them to go not the other way around. However, he didn’t mind that the young sith had made the request. On the contrary, he found it rather interesting.
“If you don’t mind me asking, what draws you to the rogue lands?” Was he searching for power or adventure or perhaps something else entirely, he pondered.
