I mean I know how to run a Gaia shop, but Neopets Shop is a little different. How do I know what items to sell and should I begin with selling anything or is it better to sell based on specialty?

arrow there's no real set method to selling on NeoPets - you can stick to a theme, or just sell anything you wanna get rid of arrow there is a set amount of items you can sell at once, and it costs to expand your shop arrow items never expire, so they'll stay there until they sell or you remove them arrow items stack, so you can't sell duplicates for different prices arrow check the Shop Wizard to see what price other people are selling the item for, and base your prices accordingly arrow if other shops are selling at a very high price (I think the max "real" price shops sell for is 99,999) try putting your item up for sale on the Trading Post or Auction House instead. Be sure to price-check any items you get offered in the trading post - some people will just spam junk bids
