So I just had an awesome moment. I get a break from my caregivin' job on weekends, so I went back to my parents' house for a reunion for my community. I ended up hangin' out with a bunch of people on the beach late at night. For a bit of back story, I have a brother.

Anyhoo, I was chattin' with some people, one of which was an old baby sitter of my brother and I. I mention that he used to babysit us, and he said "Oh yeah, I used to babysit you and your sister." This was kinda awesome, because he thought I was my brother. I have transitioned so much that he thought I was my brother, which felt great. It was also kinda cool, because a lot of other people knew that I was transitionin', and they burst out laughin' when he said this. It feels good that I pass so well that I'm interpreted as my brother.

Things get even better, though. Someone went towards the water at the beach to wash their feet, and the same guy thinks she's lookin' for shark's teeth. He says that no one can find them so late, and I say that if you give me any small space of land on the beach, I'll find a shark's tooth. He bets me $10 that in the next 10 minutes, I won't find a shark's tooth anywhere on the beach. I take the bet, borrow someone's flashlight, and find a shark's tooth in 3 minutes. As credit is due, he gives me $10! Seein' as my dad is the community's best known paleontologist, I think I did him proud. whee
