Waves crashed against the rocks near the sea cave. The tidal pools were full of life, anemones and starfish relaxing in the water as little fish trapped in them darted about. Ganesh rested with one paw dangling in the water, watching them. A small fish swam up, curiously nibbling at one of the lion's claws. He couldn't help smiling just a bit at it, before pulling his paw out and stretching. He let out a wide-mouthed yawn, before rolling over, exposing his pale belly to the sky and sun above.

Anahera's pale green eyes peered forward, her body cooling in one of the large tidepools a short clip away from Ganeesha. The guides of the ocean and her own family had been pushing her to try and move forward with her life. Some saying she should have children already, others saying a higher position. Whatever the case, Anahera was all but anxious and incredibly annoyed with their bumbling.
The chance was there though, he had his back, well... head, turned away from her. Taking two deep breaths, the creamy lioness pulled herself out of the water, a starfish tagging along on her backside. She paid it no mind, knowing she would return to the pool eventually. Sauntering up to the-dark maned lion she cleared her throat before calling out to him.
"Enjoying a bit of sun are we?"

Ganesh blinked, looking at the lioness before giving her a smile. "Of course. It's a lovely day for being out here, after all!" Having grown up in the pride's lands, he was acclimated entirely to the climate. It was the only one he knew, the only LIFE he knew. He wouldn't trade it for anything in the world, living by the sea.
Rolling back over, Ganesh rose slightly, stretching out. As he stood up fully, he offered the lioness another smile. "I'm Ganesh. What might your name be, lass?" He knew many faces in the pride, having grown up here, but hers had been an elusive one. That was to say... He knew her face, he just didn't know her name. He wanted a name to go with the face.
