          xxxASTRONOMY ~ Axxx
              ■ This was always a fairly simple class to follow, but Jojo never cared about it one way or the other. Her passing this exam can be mostly attributed to the random facts learned in class that stuck to her brain, as she didn't spend much time studying for it.

          xxxCHARMS ~ EExxx
              ■ One of Jojo's better lessons, but she didn't focus much energy studying on it. She was aware of its practicality, but found that she wasn't as concerned with doing well in this lesson. She would rather focus her efforts towards areas where she struggled some, but felt a desperate need to do well, and so this one ended up falling short as far as priorities went. Still, natural talent and an easy curriculum granted her an EE.

xxxDEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS ~ EExxx
              ■ Of all her core classes, this was the one for which Jojo was the most determined to achieve a high exam score. The events immediately following her first year of schooling ensured that she placed a lot of stock in the necessity of knowing how to defend herself, and she studied almost obsessively for this particular exam. However, when she came to the practical and was faced by her boggart, she fell short, unable to face her greatest fear.

          xxxHERBOLOGY ~ Pxxx
              ■ Jojo wasn't inclined to like this class overmuch from the start, given that she is still in many ways a product of her raising. Growing up in an upperclass, uppercrust (or, as she prefers to call it, snobby) household, she had little exposure to hard work in her youth, and still is somewhat offput by the notion of getting dirty, as it is 'unladylike', though she hates that she feels this way. Matters weren't helped by the fact that she was afraid of the professor who took over her second year of school, who reminded her greatly of her grandfather. All told, it's a miracle she managed a P on this exam.

          xxxHISTORY OF MAGIC ~ Axxx
              ■ Jojo sort of hated this class; it's the same old things she's had to hear about, all her life, on and on and on again. Granted, the professor at Hogwarts has a decidedly different perspective than the one she was raised around, which was just about the only thing that peaked her interest. But, at the end of the day, she didn't really care much for history. Like Astronomy, the only reason she passed this exam was that she remembered enough on her own to do well, because she didn't really study all that much.

          xxxPOTIONS ~ Pxxx
              ■ Like Herbology, this was not a class Jojo was brought up to do well in. For the most part, her family looked down on any person who worked in a trade, and therefore any lessons teaching one to do said trade were looked down on as well. While Jojo personally doesn't hold this bias, she had little chance of overcoming the resulting inability to perform. Being anxious as she is, she tended to antagonize over little mistakes, and if she made even one, it was all over. She did well enough on the written portion of the exam, but got flustered and confused often enough that it couldn't make up for her failure with the practical.

          xxxTRANSFIGURATION ~ EExxx
              ■ This was a lesson Jojo worked hard at, if for no other reason than that she was determined to do well. She told herself that, if she could master a difficult branch of magic, it meant that she was worth something. In addition, she became interested in the idea of becoming an animagus, and so wanted to do well in the lesson which would hopefully help her in that regard. While she worked hard at it and managed a perfect score on the written exam, when presented with the practical, she found she didn't have it in her to vanish a kitten, fearful of the result should she fail, and so opted to take the drop in her grade rather than attempt it.

          xxxART ~ EExxx
              ■ Jojo greatly enjoyed this particular lesson. One of many that she took in an attempt to rebel against her upbringing (her grandparents would have been appalled at her wasting her time on something so pointless), she actually found it to be an excellent outlet for her emotional state. While she was never particularly skillful, she still did well just by sheer force of will and love for the work.

xxxCARE OF MAGICAL CREATURES ~ Axxx
              ■ This was a lesson Jojo took to attempt to overcome some of her fears; she knew that not all the creatures studied would be easy to manage, and wanted to challenge herself. However, there were times when her anxiety got the better of her, and she failed to succeed at this goal. It showed when she took her exam, doing well enough, but forgetting enough key details that she missed due to her issues that she barely passed.

          xxxCOOKING WITH MAGIC ~ Axxx
              ■ Another course Jojo took in defiance of her family, but also for a practical reason; no longer having house-elves to look after them, her father, cousin, and herself tended to eat out a lot, which she knew wasn't particularly healthy, in addition to being a waste of money, which they didn't have much of. However, none of them particularly knew much about cooking. Jojo did well at this lesson, more or less, but again, her anxiety could at times get the better of her. If something burned, everything burned, because she became so distraught she forgot to check things. When things went well, they went really well, but sadly, this wasn't the case with her exam, during which the pressure to do well go the best of her and she panicked.

          xxxDIVINATION ~ Pxxx
              ■ Honestly, Jojo doesn't even remember why exactly she took this class. Maybe it had something to do with wanting to see if her future was as terrible as she imagined it, she can't remember. All she knows is that, as interesting as it was, she was utterly terrible at divination, in all forms. She couldn't seem to recall what any of the symbols meant, struggled with keeping everything straight, and became incredibly nervous when confronted with the prospect of attempting to read the future of one of her classmates.

          xxxMUGGLE ART ~ Axxx
              ■ Like History of Magic, Jojo tended to find this lesson a little dull. However, it at least wasn't the same boring things she'd been hearing about all her life, so she did try to pay attention. Unfortunately, her mind tended to wander a lot, and so she didn't really recall much of anything. Honestly, she guessed on a fair few questions for the exam, and was only lucky that she got them right.

          xxxMUGGLE MUSIC ~ Axxx
              ■ Unlike her normal music class, Jojo struggled somewhat with this one. She wasn't entirely sure why, as each lesson went well with the other, but this one just didn't end up being her strong suit compared to the other. While she can't quite put her finger on why, the fact remains that she found it more difficult, and only scored an A on the exam.

          xxxMUGGLE MYTHOLOGY ~ Axxx
              ■ Jojo would admit it; she had little to no interest in this lesson, she took it entirely because it had the word 'muggle' in the name, meaning that just the thought of her taking it would have appalled her relatives. She was never particularly interested in history lessons, though, so she found it somewhat difficult to stay interested. However, enough of it peaked her interest that she was able to pass the exam.

          xxxMUSIC ~ Oxxx
              ■ This was, of all her lessons, the only one she excelled at. For whatever reason, Jojo did exceptionally well in her music class, something which honestly made her quite happy, since like art, it was one in which she was able to channel her emotions. She found herself quite comfortable in this class, and so did exceptionally well on the exam. In the end, it was the only one on which she managed a perfect score.

xxxWANDLESS MAGIC PRACTICE CLASS ~ EExxx
              ■ Of all her lessons, this was the one on which Jojo most desperately wanted to do well. Past experiences have left her with a horrible fear of being caught totally defenseless, something she doesn't want to ever happen to her again. Going so far as to have her boyfriend coach her through things to help her, she struggled with controlling her emotions, and with her confidence level. However, she succeeded often enough that for the most part she was able to overcome her anxieties, and focused a lot of effort on keeping her emotions under control. While not perfect, she did perform rather well on this particular exam.
