Cooking was something Mira did all the time when she was younger and when her sister left for Hogwarts she had to take care of herself. As such cooking came easily to her. On top of it being like potions for her, Mira made sure she knew everything she needed come time for the exam. She even cooked a few meals for her sisters. Despite spending all that time making sure she would do well, come the exam she let the class slide when she went back to school. Focusing her studies on other areas her grade slide from what probably would have been an Outstanding to an Exceeding Expectations. Which, Mira hardly minded as it was really only a fluff class.
