Race: World Serpent - A species of massive wingless dragons who were once believed to raise and fell mountains with their movement, cause earthquakes and thunder, rain down fire from the heavens with their anger, and were feared overall as deadly omens. Some, like the mythical Jormungandr, held the whole earth in their grasp. Their myth is considerably less believed now than it used to be, but the once-mighty World Serpent royal lineage still cling to their former glory long after it has passed.

Natural Ability: Temper Tantrum - A World Serpent's emotions can affect a small area around them. Extreme emotions can trigger brief localized earthquakes, sometimes creating a spiderweb of cracks in the ground or knocking over breakable objects for maximum dramatic effect. If nothing else, World Serpent have presence.


Personality: In contrast to her slightly-older brother and clutchmate, Vashti is much more aloof and distrustful. While she makes her presence known and expects to be well-treated, she is extremely wary of those who are especially nice to her if they aren't obligated to do so. Being a mystical snake princess, however, she's mostly content to chill. Unless provoked, that is. Her temper may start at a low simmer, but she'll backstab you with any of her multitudes of pointy bits if she suspects betrayal. Her docile exterior belies her fierce loyalty to family and especially her brother.


Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Following a recent incident involving one of her lesser cousins and their clutch, and Ahriman’s impending enrollment which their parents hope will teach him some humility, Vashti convinced her father to send her along as well in the interest of his safety.

Surely nothing could go wrong with the two of them watching each other’s backs, right? … Right?

FEAR Ability: World Carver (Swift Strikes) - Vashti can fire a devastating blue-white beam of fire at her enemies, sure to leave them with horrific burns... unless they can effectively dive out of the way, of course.

I love love love her design, congrats on the win! : D Definitely look forward to some rp after she's enrolled!

I can't see anything that needs real tweaking, so instead I'll just ask some questions because I'm curious. Do you mind expounding on the recent incident mentioned in her enrollment reason? How does she feel about the royal bloodline and her position in it? (Pressured, confident, caged, etc.)

The incident would be the final Egg-straction quest from the event! What kind of self-respecting world serpent would suck so bad at guarding their eggs? razz

As for her place in the royal bloodline, she has no interest in the crown but feels stifled as second-in-line, particularly as princess. She developed her general policy of distrust when she realized some members of the court were attempting to use her, either as a way to get into her father's good graces or as a path to the crown itself. But when you use someone for those ends and they wise up, they own you. There were... mysterious disappearances after that. She was raised to value her brother above all else, and she applies this ruthlessly at home. Enrollment at the Academy serves not only to keep him safe, but also to give her some space away from the constant (and in her opinion, really unnecessary) demands of palace life.

I have AJ, who is an amphisbaena, Ouroboros's relative. He is a wingless two-head serpent dragon. His species has wings, but he didn't (You can still see some feathery features as a hint for that) Since I couldn't get her in the raffle, I'm gonna have my character spoiling the cousins! His hobby is baking desserts like spookies and cupcakes and whatnot.

Congratulations! Your character has passed the enrollment process and you're cleared to begin playing. Essentially, this means you can get your art certed, make your character's journal, and most importantly start RPing. If you're a little lost then don't worry, this guide is here to point you in the right direction.
