Brauna was normally quite a clean and tidy individual, but today she looked quite a mess. She was a bedraggled and bloody mess, in fact, as she padded wearily and gingerly into the heart of the pride. Today had not been a good day. She did like her job, and she wasn't about to give it up, but she was learning that life here wasn't a piece of cake, even for someone immune to the ravages of the disease.
She limped into the area where the Healers tended to congregate, tending to the ill and injured as well as waiting to be summoned. She sat herself down with a sigh and a wince, ears folded dejectedly. "Pardon the interruption, but I could use some help with these." She lifted a paw that was liberally smeared with blood from deep scratches, which matched pretty much the rest of her body. "Anyone free?" she inquired with mildly pitiful hope. She would never, ever, expect a healer to leave the side of the ill to help her, but it wasn't uncommon for there to be unoccupied healers either.

Brauna's decidedly unkempt appearance was really bothering her, but she could hardly blame the male for his inquiry. The 'how' of her injuries could be quite important to treating them, after all, or so she'd guess.
She took a breath, glad she could do so with a minimum of pain. "Well, I was out on my patrol, and thought I saw something in the distance. So I broke into a lope to chase it down... and ran right off the edge of a bluff." She ducked her head and flattened her ears a bit in chagrin. "I didn't know it was there, you see, and I was so focused on the horizon that I... just... kinda... fell." It was terribly embarrassing to have to admit all this!
"It is both my good luck and my bad luck that I was saved from that painful fall by a very thick copse of thornbushes." She wrinkled her nose at the memory, making the scratches on her face sting. "I may or may not still have a few still stuck in me, actually." She shifted her hindquarters uncomfortably. "They kept me from breaking a leg, but this result isn't terribly nice either." She gave him a pitiful look. "Is there anything you can do to help?"
