Muggle Mythology - A
While Muggle Mythology and its counterpart still remained Eleazar's favorite classes, his studying for them went by the wayside in favor of other classes. In Muggle Mythology especially, he assumed he could get away without studying much and still maintain at least an Exceeds Expectations. Unfortunately, this was not the case.
Mythology - A
Lea studied slightly more for Mythology than Muggle Mythology, but the stories melded together in his head, and he had a hard time separating them out. He was immensely annoyed with himself by the time he was done with the exam.
Alchemy - O
Alchemy was always a subject Lea excelled at, and even though it wasn't required for his chosen career he still wanted to prove to himself that he could do very well on the exam. He studied even harder than he had for his OWLs, and came away with an O.
Transfiguration - O
Transfiguration was something Lea had always been naturally good at. He'd found the OWL easy, and while the NEWT was obviously harder, he wasn't as intimidated by it as he suspected some of his year mates might have been. He'd studied, and was very confident and relaxed while taking it, which he was proud of.
Potions - O
Since Lea plans on being a potioneer, careers for vampires being restricted by those that can be worked by night, he had no intentions of getting anything less than an O on his Potions NEWT. He spent almost all his free time his final year practicing his potion making skills, and it paid off when it came time for the exam.
Herbology - EE
Herbology was not a class Lea was naturally talented in, and he had to seriously work to make sure his exam grade in it wasn't going to slip his final year. While plants didn't seem to hate him... they were not best friends, and being undead made finding time to practice his Herbology skills in the greenhouse a bit more difficult, though he still considered it no excuse for the Exceeds Expectations he ended up with. He'd wanted that O!
