Wings

budgeting a pair of winx club wings is not going to be easy, just a word of warning. I'm STILL saving up for material costs for mine.

http://www.erinstblaine.com/2012/11/cellophane-tinkerbell-wings-tutorial.html and this one. they all call for the same kind of materials.
you can attempt to color the cellophane or just use these to get the basic shape, then go over it with fabrics.

if you have a projector you can blow the image up on your floor to follow the shape with the wire. or you can blew the image up in size, print and go from there.

Those were amazing tutorials! I really like the Tinkerbell wings! You could also use wire to construct the base outline for wings as well. It looks like in the photo of the girls, that some used glitter on the outline of the wings too.

Even though these wings aren't the same shape as the ones you want to make, I just wanted to share a tutorial that uses wire as well.

I dont know if you have a Michaels arts and crafts store, but they carry cellophane as well that isnt super costly ($3-$5) and one roll should be enough to cover your base if you want to go the cellophane route.

You can also use cardboard and paint your design with acrylics, though you will need to make a stencil of your design and then copy it onto your wings.
