She nearly missed Sludge's return greeting but caught the end of it and understood. "I hear there will be a few booths set up in Halloween Town for the festivities, there will be lots of candy..." she eyed the trash he had been eating with a bit of concern. Hopefully the message would get across.

Sludge looked up at the mention of candy, not sure what it was but knowing it was food and that he wanted some.

He then turned back to titus as he spoke. "Groood...morrnnnn..." And then walked towards halloween town in search of candy.

"You act like this is supply and demand. My life is not a commodity." He made an overly exaggerated frown, looking down at the ghoul with one brow raised. She was sort of like a cat. Demanding and did what she pleased. Even now she was making herself comfortable despite what Titus might have to say about it and that grin on her face said he really didn't have any options available to him.

"Try again when you have something worth trading for a story, Kidget." He reached down to lightly flick her nose, attempting a smile at the mention of homework. "Ah, no homework. That makes the two of us." Though his was because he was still on probation and far too lazy to get out of probation. Two weeks had turned into months.

With her last question he shrugged. "It's like my own personal purgatory."

"I don't know if getting dressed counts as an achievement. Especially considering what you're wearing." Not that Titus was one to talk currently. He had nice clothes but there was no way he was going to wear them to pick up trash so his own outfit was rather downplayed. That fact, however, would not stop him from being rude.

His attention shifted to Edel though it seemed like the ghoul was more interested in speaking with the creature that had been following him around like a lost pup. Good, they could keep each other company.

Titus breathed a sigh of relief when Anika removed herself from his person. Relief that, at its best, was fleeting and brief as she stepped on him in her retreat. He had been unprepared for the last and unintentional jab and let out an 'oaf' as the air left his lungs.

With an irritated grumble he got to his feet quickly, trying to remove the last of the food remains and only making more of a mess. "Can you even call this a battle? It barely registered as a food fight." He ran his hands down his face and quickly flicked his hands to remove what disgusting muck he could.

Gabby was just about to mention how getting dressed was among some of his finest achievements, considering the care he put into his looks - but that last comment froze him in place, and he let out a huff of frost in indignation. "What would you know about clothes, janitor? You look like something that belongs in the can itself." He popped his ruffled collar and adjusted his suit's sleeve ends hautily, then jutted his chin out and looked down his nose at the boil. If there was one thing Gabby was proud of, it was his sense of style.
