Her next few steps were uneventful but that did not help ease her nerves. Falair was more determined now than ever. She had worked so hard to get here. If she didn't make it through this time she didn't know what she was going to do. She couldn't fail anymore. Well she could, but it was now a personal goal to not do so this time.

The next spike trap didn't even phase her. Falair did not even loose her stride as the sharp spikes sliced at her skin.

Sadly that giant axe would stop her quite short. It was hard to get very far with your head unattached from your body.

This time. This was the time Falair was sure of it. She would make it through. She would pass this test and then she could move on with her life. There was only forward, no going back. The spike traps gave her pause but she pushed through the pain.

When she came upon her first hidden treasure she didn't even slow her pace. Grabbing it as she continued on through the labyrinth. Falair was more determined now than ever that she was going to make it through this.

Falair barely escaped the next spike trap. The adrenaline rushing through her made her feel almost invincible. As well as light headed. She almost walked right into one of the spikes but at the last second side stepped it to continue on.

Some of these treasures didn't seem quite so hidden. In fact, a lot of them she was coming across were just sitting out for anyone who had half a mind to wander through to pick up. Wait, did that mean she had half a mind? No, she wasn't stupid. Of course not. HAhahahaha.

Like seriously who was in charge of hiding these treasures? They weren't doing a very good job of it. Perhaps they had just gotten super lazy about it. Well that was uncalled for. If you couldn't take pride in your work then what was the point of doing the job in the first place?

Falair was pretty sure by now that she had found enough treasures to pass the test if she made it out. So this fourth one was one she would keep for herself as a souvenir. Might as well. She had gone through so much she sure as hell earned it.

There it was, the end. So far so good. She hadn't had anything fall on her or anymore spikes pop out of the floor. Falair's pace quickened, only to slow when yet another piece of treasure appeared. Not that she was greedy but who cared, Falair scooped up the second piece of extra treasure and tucked it into her pouch.

Picking up her pace once more until finally she reached the exit. Collapsing to her hands and knees while a few others who had been watching came to congratulate her on her finishing the test. Finally.

She was only slightly out of breath and super achy. Now she was going to drag herself to the hot springs and have a nice, long soak. And revel in her new title as Sage.
