Name: Veronica Adela duGrosse
Nicknames: None really, unless someone wants to give one to her. Her giant spider of a familiar occasionally gets a screech, though.
Gender: Female
Age: Sixteen

Faction: Reaper
Race: Druid - They have given up the ways of magic in order to relearn the ways of alchemy. Druids only use natural un-spellbound ingredients to make their potions, but the results are (usually) quite potent. Veronica's particular druid clan has chosen to specialise in the dark arts -- poisons and other similarly dangerous things, that is. Most members bond to potentially poisonous familiars. Hers? A giant spider.

Natural Ability: Poison Detection: Druids have a natural ability to detect which herbs are poisonous and are not. They are immune to all poison. (From Reaper Guide)


Personalities:
If one word could describe Veronica, it would be sassy. She tells it like it is, she is a bit of a smartass, and she carries herself quite confidently. Or, at least, she has her spider carry her confidently, but it isn't like there is much of a difference in her stature either way. Her words tend to have a bit of a bite to them, and she delivers them with a bit of a grin on her face.

Despite her penchant for sass, she isn't unfriendly. She willingly inserts herself into many situations, and enjoys making friends with creeple as much as she enjoys needling at them. Veronica has a natural outgoing streak, and thrives off the presence of other creeple around her.

Unfortunately, Veronica has always been a bit spoiled. This has a led to a bit of a bossy streak, and she tends to order creeple around without even realizing it. She can, additionally, get upset when creeple don't so willingly obey her requests, though she can be persuaded to back off when she's reminded of what she's doing.

This ghoul tends to shy away from danger, and will back away from any "adventures" or other things of that sort. Physical danger generally frightens her, and if she does anything that seems to be turning that up, she'll back off -- and this includes her bossy streak. Veronica will not admit it as cowardice, but she'll certainly insist that she doesn't want to get her poor Geraldine in trouble.

Geraldine would sass back that seriously, ghoul, it's not trouble for me, but Veronica is probably the one person that she won't actively mouth off at. While there are many reapers that do not share much in common with their familiars, Geraldine and Veronica are two peas in a pod, and they share quite a bit in common. Both are social creatures with a smartmouthed streak, but where Veronica is the bossy one, Geraldine is very much not.

In fact, she acts a bit more like a maid than anything. She's very helpful, getting things for her bonded and her friends when asked, even to the point of being willing to let Veronica sit on her back as a mode of transportation. That's okay, though -- she would do anything for her bond, and Veronica knows it.

Unfortunately, it's that same helpful streak that sometimes causes a bit of conflict between Veronica and Geraldine. While Veronica would not ever trade Geraldine for a weapon -- in fact, she thinks weaponed reapers are missing out -- she does wish Geraldine would occasionally give her some space...

Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy?
Veronica is an up-and-coming druid, and while her clan has taught her plenty, she also needs to go to school and learn about their world and the human one she will eventually need to spook. Several other family members had gone to Amityville, and she would be the next one.

FEAR Ability: Energy Sap - Veronica drips a sappy mixture onto her foe. When she attacks for the next few turns, the sap pulls a bit of her enemy's health to herself.

First Dice: indicates how many turns the effect will last, starting with your next regular attack.

Second Dice: represents how much health you steal per hit.

Physical Descriptions:
Eye Colour: Purple.
Hair Colour/Style: Veronica has black hair that is shorter in the back and flipped, with longer tails in the front. She tends to put a lot of bows and decorations on the longer sections of her hair.
Skin Colour: Pale, peachy
Clothing Style/Colours: Veronica tends to like things that are cozy but adorable, so she's mostly found in sweaters, skirts, long socks, and various other cozy accessories (for example, scarves). She likes adorable yet vaguely spooky patterns, and has an obvious thing for spiderwebs and the colour purple.

Eye Colour: Red, matching the inside of her mouth.
Hair Colour/Style: Geraldine has black fur, mostly, with purple tufts around her neck and the bottom of her feet.
Skin Colour: Skin can't really be seen, but it's mostly the same colour as her fur, anyway.
Clothing Style/Colours: Geraldine is a spider and doesn't really wear much in the way of clothing, though she'll sometimes "borrow" some of Veronica's accessories.

Congratulations! Your character has passed the enrollment process and you're cleared to begin playing. Essentially, this means you can get your art certed, make your character's journal, and most importantly start RPing.
