Every so often, the birds would rush past her in a flurry and the wind blew gently around her. Looking out into the wide and open lands, Busara felt a rare sense of peace wash over her completely.
From where she stood, she could easily see for miles and the sight was absolutely breathtaking. She almost felt as if she were floating above the ground in the clouds. Although she did feel a little nervous standing at the edge of a cliff, the surreal nature of the moment kept her fears at bay.
They'd finally made it.
After traveling for days, Busara and Kileti had finally made it to the base of a stretch of mountains. Standing there, the lioness had felt no bigger than a small ant gazing up at the jagged walls of rock.
