Hamilton wants to have a cure for his lycanthropy, so he worked diligently on mastering the skills necessary to work on it. Alchemy he figured was a good course to take for this, as it let him explore the different aspects of substances. He didn't make an Outstanding, much to his chagrin.
XAX Arithmancy
This was a course that Hamilton neglected after he was bitten by a werewolf. As a result, he didn't get as high in this class as he could have in favor of others.
XEEX Cursebreaking
Hamilton decided that cursebreaking was essential to try and cure his lycanthropy. He had already taken the course before the attack, and spent much of his time afterward studying it. He didn't get an Outstanding in the course, however.
XAX Wandless Magic Practice Class
Hamilton had high hopes that he was going to do well in this class. However, he couldn't get his mind around using magic with a wand enough to do well. He barely scraped by in the course as a result.
XPX Wandlore Studies
Hamilton wanted to do well in this class. He really did. However, with his newfound affliction he found that he had to devote more time to other classes than he did this one, and couldn't get a passing grade as a result.
XEEX Wizard Law
Wizard Law was a course that Hamilton wanted to study extensively to get into the ministry, and he studied it quite often before his affliction. However, since his newfound affliction happened, he found he couldn't think on how to actually go into the ministry. However, his previous studies of the course let him pass the class quite well.
